Nobody was talking to you, so there's no call to be butthurt.

classy as always, Plaintiff.

I don't really feel the need to be polite to people when they accuse me of saying things I haven't said.

I personally don't put much stock into what people say regarding boycotts, not pre-ordering, etc. What they say and what they do (or want) tend to be different.

I'm going to pre-order unless everything we hear sounds awful. I know I'll get it immediately anyway, and I might as well cash in on the exclusives and bonuses.

Herp derp. Because saying I don't see a reason currently is apparently the same as saying no reason could possibly exist.

What is reading comprehension?

Likewise, saying you don't see a reason to pre-order it currently -- as I don't, we don't even have any info yet -- doesn't mean one doesn't exist, or that people are just out to **** on Bioware.

Your reasons for preordering (or not), are totally irrelevent to the fact that OP clearly and transparently made this thread to whine for the umpteenth time about how Bioware has personally murdered their childhood pets.

Is that what you read? I read that they didn't enjoy DA2 and ME3. Perfectly valid points. Try not to be so sensitive. It may be true that this discussion has been visited and re-visited ad-nauseum, but perhaps the poster is new?

See the problem there?

I will be preordering. In fact I plan on getting the Collector's Edition as I have before.

Probably. I'm not a huge gamer, but I've enjoyed the Bioware suite, even including those last two. Whether or not I'll preorder it depends entirely on whether the bonus is cool, but it'll probably be one of the two games I buy this year.

Probably will, usually do, it's not a lot of money in the big picture and I don't mind the added goodies.

Yes, I will pre-order. CE if it's available. I just hope the box doesn't destroy the disks like the ME box did. >.<

Do we have to decide right now?
Or can we wait until ... I don't know ... we actually know something about the game?

Seriously. If it looks good, I'll preorder. If not, I won't. But it doesn't look anything yet, since no real information has been released. The entire concept of this thread is flawed.

You get your logic right out of here.

But yeah, that's a really good point.

I don't generally pre-order anything.

I'm extremely particular about the kind of video games I'm interested in playing, and I get waaay over excited when a game I know I'm going to like comes out.  So I always pre-order them.  In fact, on two separate occasions I tried to con somebody at Best Buy into selling me my pre-order a day early.  (They shot me down both times.)

Inquisition may be the first special edition of a game that I buy (and pre-order).

I think Bioshock 2 was actually the only game I've ever pre-ordered in my entire life....was kind of bummed after that, so I never did it again.

I still buy a lot of games on release day, though. I probably will with DA3. So really me not pre-ordering anything is kind of pointless, lol.

I assume that when they do start the marketing campaign, they'll be forthright about the things I care about...so maybe? I haven't preordered any games in a while (since ME3, actually), and somehow I don't miss the ingame geegaws or whatever. I don't mind waiting a bit after it comes out and feeling more confident in my purchase.

Why is "anyone" in capital letters? Is there some "boycott DA3" movement I'm not aware of?

Will I wake up dead in a ditch if I say yes?

Not interested currently. I might check it out if the user reviews are to my liking, since I usually go based what my friends say (since we like a lot of similar games), but they never played Dragon Age, sadly.

Where on Earth did I intimate that that was the case?

Perhaps, but it's unlikely. You know what I do when I play a game I don't like? I stay away from forums dedicated to discussing that game.

If the OP is purely, genuinely interested in simply knowing our purchasing intentions, perhaps for some sort of survey, then why mention their own personal preferences at all?

I don't know.

DA isn't a high-profile franchise, so I really won't be "forced" to preorder just to get a copy. On your topic of recent games, Bioware's doing better and better with every game (except DA ][, which was merely a good game as opposed to fantastic, like ME2 & ME3--nope, not joking), so I see no reason to "punish" them like you--but I don't consider pre-ordering an obligation. Regardless of whether I pre-order or not, at this juncture I have every intention to buy the game at full price, likely at release.

I won't preorder because if DA2 and ME3 are any indication the price will drop 50% a month later, I can wait to get it at half price. Plus at half price if you wanted to you could buy the day 1 dlc and still be paying less that's a win in my book.

I probably will. But, regarding collectors editions and such it really depends. Last year I preorderd the collectors edition of AC3 because I really liked the stuff that came with it, but this year i'll probably just preorder a regular copy of AC4 because there isn't much in the U.S.'s collectors edition of the game.Either way i'll be preordering.

To be fair, this is a "social site" and I've stayed on currently because of a lot of folks here, the games were the spark that lead to a lot of great conversations and people I've met, but as of right now, Bioware's games are not the reason I stay active.

An interesting situation, that you and a lot of my other friends here are in. I really wouldn't say I don't want you guys around, but I would say I wish this site was less social--not only because it can cause major drama in those circles, but because of the effect it has on the forums.

Fair point, but there is a time and place for both - PM's, groups, etc.
