Is ANYONE going to preorder DA3?

I'm going to pre-order unless everything we hear sounds awful. I know I'll get it immediately anyway, and I might as well cash in on the exclusives and bonuses.

Herp derp. Because saying I don't see a reason currently is apparently the same as saying no reason could possibly exist.
What is reading comprehension?
Likewise, saying you don't see a reason to pre-order it currently -- as I don't, we don't even have any info yet -- doesn't mean one doesn't exist, or that people are just out to **** on Bioware.

Your reasons for preordering (or not), are totally irrelevent to the fact that OP clearly and transparently made this thread to whine for the umpteenth time about how Bioware has personally murdered their childhood pets.
Is that what you read? I read that they didn't enjoy DA2 and ME3. Perfectly valid points. Try not to be so sensitive. It may be true that this discussion has been visited and re-visited ad-nauseum, but perhaps the poster is new?

See the problem there?

I will be preordering. In fact I plan on getting the Collector's Edition as I have before.

Or can we wait until ... I don't know ... we actually know something about the game?
Seriously. If it looks good, I'll preorder. If not, I won't. But it doesn't look anything yet, since no real information has been released. The entire concept of this thread is flawed.

You get your logic right out of here.
But yeah, that's a really good point.

I'm extremely particular about the kind of video games I'm interested in playing, and I get waaay over excited when a game I know I'm going to like comes out. So I always pre-order them. In fact, on two separate occasions I tried to con somebody at Best Buy into selling me my pre-order a day early. (They shot me down both times.)SergeantSnookie wrote...
I don't generally pre-order anything.
Inquisition may be the first special edition of a game that I buy (and pre-order).
I think Bioshock 2 was actually the only game I've ever pre-ordered in my entire life....was kind of bummed after that, so I never did it again.
I still buy a lot of games on release day, though. I probably will with DA3. So really me not pre-ordering anything is kind of pointless, lol.

Perhaps, but it's unlikely. You know what I do when I play a game I don't like? I stay away from forums dedicated to discussing that game.Is that what you read? If the OP is purely, genuinely interested in simply knowing our purchasing intentions, perhaps for some sort of survey, then why mention their own personal preferences at all?

DA isn't a high-profile franchise, so I really won't be "forced" to preorder just to get a copy. On your topic of recent games, Bioware's doing better and better with every game (except DA ][, which was merely a good game as opposed to fantastic, like ME2 & ME3--nope, not joking), so I see no reason to "punish" them like you--but I don't consider pre-ordering an obligation. Regardless of whether I pre-order or not, at this juncture I have every intention to buy the game at full price, likely at release.

To be fair, this is a "social site" and I've stayed on currently because of a lot of folks here, the games were the spark that lead to a lot of great conversations and people I've met, but as of right now, Bioware's games are not the reason I stay active.

An interesting situation, that you and a lot of my other friends here are in. I really wouldn't say I don't want you guys around, but I would say I wish this site was less social--not only because it can cause major drama in those circles, but because of the effect it has on the forums.

Fair point, but there is a time and place for both - PM's, groups, etc.
