I've always wondered why bioware never put in "Blind eyes" option in the eye color tool. Forgive me if this sounds like a bad idea, but looking at the world of Dragon age, it doesn't seem impossible. My example in this area:



Sure, she's got Seismic Sense, but, she's got a good point on blindness. I mean, for a mage, how hard is it to reach out and "feel" people? Either that, or follow Toph's example and use the ground as a way to sense stuff. We've already got Earthquake. maybe the person can send out a very light earthquake, barely noticeable?
Just a thought, so please don't murder me. Would love if a bioware person could answer, but everyone's advice is welcome.

As there was a blind companion in Kotor 2, it is definitely not impossible.

Never played Kotor, but I do know about the blind companion in it. Just wish Bioware would do the same for Dragon age. I really do think it would be a good idea.

Whoa.... I did not know about that. not much of a Japanese anime myself, but that looks interesting.

But I still want to know if bioware could do that for DA3, or maybe add on another expansion for DA2, giving you this kind of character. Now, i'm not asking to stick Toph in DA universe, but maybe someone similar to her, ability-wise.
Like I said, I'm certain this topic is full of maybes. while we do have to wait for DA3, it's something to consider, while it's still in the making. But by now i'm certain it's nearly done, so my suggestion may remain a suggestion.

Wait a minute, what about the blind templar in DA:O? I know it was only for 1 quest but he was still blind, right?
