I used to be interested in Star Wars... then something called Mass Effect came along and completely forgot about it and Lucas' whacky ideas
I think near the end Lucas was just spiting his fans on purpose. Though I grew up with Star Wars so it's always going to hold a special place in my heart.

I meant no disrespect for Star Wars as a ground-breaking movie trilogy in its inception, I also grew up as part of that generation. By George Lucas whacky ideas I meant things like Jar-Jar Binks, the Ewoks, etc... and he pulled a few Deux Ex Machina using the Force, there's no moment where you actually think the main characters are going to die, since the baddies have terrible accuracy
I actually liked KoTOR story better than the movies

(poor Jenkins...)

You should look into the EU, stormtroopers are actually really dangerous there. Again though, I think Lucas was just trying to spite his fans before Disney got it. It's really sad that the general reaction to that was "... Well it's not like they could do anything worse than what Lucas already did..."
Humorously one of the times it isn't got cut. The Force Ghost trick was supposed to come up in Episode 3 as Qui-Gon having figured it out, but it got cut.
As for Jenkins, I can never take him dying seriously, got his "nrarrgh" when he gots shot up, he just sounds so bored.

...And here I was expecting a reference to that one cutscene in Jacob's mission in me3.
OT I always thought that Mass Effect was what KOTOR would have turned out to be if Bioware had the SW license.
