My question is, how come some games every player is over 120k, and then other games no one breaks 100k? What's the difference between the one game and the other?

Unknown/Unknown, collectors, AoE powers

Also Hazard maps.

As for that guy scoring a whopping 14 points in Wave 4... Are you sure they were there since the beginning? Because I'd think you'd have more points than that just by being in the game when the Wave 3 objective gets done...

I had someone come in on wave three and die without firing a shot (LZ kill) and still got more points than that.  Somehow, I don't understand that math...

I've seen people leave at wave three and someone new arrive at wave three and same with other waves and have low scores like that, but I dunno.  Of course, the other night I played a Platinum game and somone ended up lower than me with 14k (I had 120k in third place and first place was near 250k).  This person did start from the beginning but never played - just shot in the air and ran around away from everything unless he died.

i dont care about score that much, someone scored 33K? thats fine with me, but if it goes close to 25k, or under it and they been at it since the match started, simply means they didnt give a **** and didnt even try, hence those people get ze boot.

Score doesn't mean anything!

If me and one or two of my buddies are killing EVERYTHING, it's normal that the other(s) will get crumbs. It's normal for others to trail back with 60 000 points or less when we rack up 200 000 points each.

However, you are getting the boot if:

- You never use consumables if you get yourself in trouble.
- You run off and do your own thing and die (bleed out) at the beginning of every wave.
- If you join my platinum games with a low (5000 or less) Challenge points, poor gear and poor equipment.
- If you camp or hide through the whole game without contributing to mission objectives.
- If you spam shield boost throughout the game without pulling your weight.
- If you score bellow 20 000 points on gold and 40 000 points on platinum (which is already REALLY low)

My answer to the OP's question: Generally whatever I end up with at the end of the game.
