I really wish Bioware would have made prior promotions count retroactively. I had already promoted each of my six classes several times before the challenge system was implemented, and now I've promoted all six classes ten times each. I should have that challenge.
Finally, it is finished

N7 mastery took me to exactly N7 3000. No extraneous promotions required for a nice round number.

Congrats!! N7 Mastery was my last challenge for BotB as well. So much of a relief to be done with the grinding. Awesome job!

It's the only one I have left. I've been debating whether I want to even bother. Can't decide.

I wear that banner as that is one of the only ones I feel that someone can not view me as a tool to carry them; it is a banner of - I did it and it was exhausting; I did it an accomplished it. I know how to use certain weapons and certain kits, and know how to play stupid. However, this banner says I did my time. If I promote any more it is because I don't want to use a respec card.
Congrats, you've earned it. Now go celebrate!

Once I started buying 200k-300k worth of recruit packs after each time I had promoted all six classes, it wasn't that bad, actually. Most of the classes would be back up to at least level 12-13, so maybe one silver match was needed and then I could generally jump straight back to gold.Matthias King wrote...

Just make sure you have something else (tablet, laptop, smartphone, tv whatever) to occupy your mind while you're grinding through the sometimes cripplingly slow store buying all those packs

Yep that is what i did 500k credits of recuit packs and 1 or 2 reserve packs each cycle, generally only had to level from 14 on each class, but it was still an unfun slog. (dropped just short of 9 million on reserve packs after the last promotion got 9 UR +1's and only have to level from 18 on a few of the chars.
thanks everyone.

Grats. I'm about halfway, myself. I'll aim for some other challenges along the way, but it is really the only one I am aiming for strongly.

I'm working on this one right now, last one left before I get BOTB. I can't stand promoting, I've tried buying recruit packs by the dozen, hoping the extra xp will level me up faster. Did they really need to make it 60 times? I mean, come on!
