Most important gear is Grenade Capacity V (and power amps, if you have them) ... cloak, throw 2 - 3 grenades at or near every spawn ... pile up kill streaks ... i recommend taking 4b radius in Arc Grenades .. 10.4 meters hits everything
I only put 4 points in TC and TS personally .. TS helps but is almost overkill ... this guys damage output is huge
I typically just run him with the Hurricane, but have also tried the CSMG and Talon on him
As you can tell from the various debates in this thread, there are many effective ways to set him up ...

I guess I could see that - the Javelin synergizes the same way the Claymore does, Arc Grenades for mooks and Javelin for armored targets. I guess I preferred the multi-shot snipers because it took me forever to level up my Grenade Gear past L2, and I was used to having to conserve grenades more. A crowd of mooks can be taken out by 2 Arc Grenades, or one Grenade plus several cleanup shots. I preferred the second way to conserve grenades.NuclearTech76 wrote...
IDK. The Javelin synergizes pretty well as well. Arc nades are so devastating to small units and the Javelin for picking off the bigger slower moving targets.

Hey congrats OP .. with a little practice your days of not scoring alot are over (esp on maps like Jade/Rio/Giant .. any open concept one)

Yeah, I've noticed. I'm getting a little excited about getting home and trying him out. When I first looked at the powers I kind of said "so what?", but then I thought about the times I've seen people tossing arc grenades constantly and rethought it.
I'm thinking 46664 right now and carrying the Reegar, although I kind of suck with it. I kill one thing fast, then screw up the reload cancel and get killed... but if everything else is already dead (or at least staggered)...

Run that. Open on a spawn with an Arc Nade or two. Tac scan on whatever boss enemy is left to break cloak. You still get some of your Reegar clip in the cloak bonus and everything dies fast. Aim for the head, wash, rinse, repeat till bored then move on to different weapon or kit.
Great thing about Tac Scan (Cryo Blast too on the HI) is it's cooldown is so quick, you can also use it before Cloaking so that more of the clip of whatever rapid-fire weapon your using remains under the Cloak damage bonus effect.
Good in theory until you happen upon a spawn of Primes uncloaked. Otherwise I agree you can cast it on elites before nuking and get more damage.
Not "in theory", in practice. Never suggested running blindly around corners unCloaked. It's done first at times when already in a position of soft cover, not always. Hence the "also".

Seriously, it sounds like a good smart practice but I have my way and I kill everything in a spawn usually without getting hit so it works for me.

Call me crazy, but I just skip tactical scan on the quarians. Long animation and it's cooldown competes with incinerate's, plus headshot bonus is useless.
On the MQE, I agree. But, why not on the MQI? You are taking cloak to four, and you don't need full fitness!

You might have a point. I just find the time wasted on the animation is better used shooting your gun and tossing nades, everytime I used TS felt like I was missing out on the kills.HoochieHamiltoe wrote...

I seem to be one of the few who actually enjoys Area Scan. Obviously Grenade Capacity gear is what you want so that takes away using the Geth Scanner on him. Area Tactical Scan is great for scouting around you and you shouldn't get hit much as an Infiltrator anyway so 6 into fitness is a waste.
Agreed. When you observe the actions of team mates when you use this alot you see a real difference. Many times I've used that power and then saw a team mate or mates suddenly change their attack behaviour when a perceived threat shows up. It also really seems to make a difference in polishing off bosses when you have more than one member of the team working on them.

Damn near any good weapon particularily high burst DPS ones are great on him. Shotguns work particularily well because the stun of Arcs allow you to wade in and get down to business at arms length.
well put.
He is able to take out the shield of any mook with a single arc grenade and remain in cloak, he also has a retarded amount of single-enemy DPS when paired up with Tac scan (to be used before cloaking).
Personally, i think a shotgun is superior to that of a sniper with this guy, considering that he can get close to any enemy and control groups with easy at point blank range

So is the QME with incendiary rounds.
guess destroyer is super god tier
incinerate + incendiary rounds for some extra dot = abusing glitches = not fair
TC = working as intended = fair
Lolwhat? I don't get this. Incinerate is legit. I'll only consider it as a glitch when combined with Reegar.

One just doesn't put incendiary ammo on the QME. There is disruptor. Go for disruptor. Always disruptor.Istari Ipuosta wrote...
