How come at the landsmeet even if you win 5-2 you still "lose" and have to do the whole fight :/

It matters if Anora speaks in your favor or Loghain's quite a great deal. Also having the revered mother speak in your favor about Jowan also matters a lot.

How can the Revered Mother speak for you? I never knew you could do that.

Talk about how Loghain tried to have Eamon poisoned.

Make sure that you talked to the Templar's Sister and gave her his ring if you want to have mentioned Arl Eamon's poisoning to have any good effect.

Ultimatly it doesn't matter if you "win" or "loose" the voting. If you win the vote, Loghain won't abide the the result and you can either settle it by a duel or get rowdy and fight him and his soldiers in a brawl. If you loose the vote... well, you won't stand for that any less than he, so... fighting it is.

Always promise support to Anora, even if you're going to double-cross her. She'd do it to you. Of course, I believe you get more XP if you rumble, anyway.

But fighting it as a duel feels so much more... epic I think. I'll trade a few xp for that feeling.

Good news is you get to duel no matter what
I agree it's more epic without the brawl though.

Well lets be fair you knew it would turn to chaos whatever the outcome. But it is cool when everyone starts brawling.
