ONLY in the sense that Volus kits can be MORE than Support kits, and CAN deal damage (can have substantial killscore).  That's not at all difficult to do, when used right.

Draggons/Phantoms etc take more than 2 seconds to slash - Sometimes you don't have the time to finish the target in melee (bad spot - too many enemies firing at you) .. So you need to emergency teleport to safety .. Many times however the target will die a few seconds later due to the dot ..

example - need to vamoose because of phantom - dragoon dies soon to dot anyway

I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the Cabal. If I build melee, I'd rather be someone like the Krolord or the Smashguard with a melee build. If I build as a weapons platform, I'd probably rather play an infiltrator or soldier or something.

What exactly does she do that other kits can't arguably do better? I admit the jumping through walls thing is nice but N7 Fury and Slayer can also do that...but then again they can't build melee or as a weapons platform I suppose.

If you have ANY inkling on how to attack, the ability to teleport through walls is moot.

I play N7 Fury.  BUT I recognize AND use ALL Asari kits' superior dodge to evade attacks and stay within MY attack range.

Biotic Focus gives the survivability to be in close range. Sounds like decent synergy to me.

Being highly mobile is what makes her effective. Being able to get in and out with a weapon (ideally a shotgun but you can really use anything you want) is what gives her an advantage that no other kit really has. She can restore her shields when she teleports back to safety. She can throw NB or PS if she's getting surrounded. She looks freaking badass while doing everything. What more could anyone ask for.
