I've recently (Start of Act 3) switched from Hard to Nightmare. So far however, I'm mostly micromanaging everything. I'd like to be able to let the game run a bit without my allies wreaking havoc on me, but I haven't been able to figure out a proper way to configure tactics to avoid friendly fire. Do I have to let out all FF-spells/abilities or is there a better way?

1 frontliner, 3 ranged. Frontliner can use all of their melee abilities with abandon not worrying about FF.
Computer controlled mage spells are to be limited to Primal and/or single target spells.
Manually cast your aoe spells, keep your hold key pressed down so allies don't randomly move into aoe.
