Drell Adept/Justicar should've had Warp . . .

that said, I avoid grenade classes as I don't like playing tug of war with other classes.

Yep. Speccing the Drell wouldn't be so straightforward if this were the case, and I wouldn't find the Justicar boring to play.me0120 wrote...
I think you meant Throw instead of Pull.
Would that not make her OP?
Area Reave + Throw Cooldown = Multiple BEs in a very short period of time.
Okay, what about Reave, Bubble, and Flare? That will limit the BE's.

Also, I would've liked the DA to get lash instead of pull, that way he could be spec'd in a number of ways and not only one.

Lol. Ask the people that play with me if I understand game mechanics.
Thank you for your kind suggestion, but no such consultation will be neccessary. You level of understanding is already aptly demonstrated.

Not any more than the fury or lots of other kits. I'd definitely find her more interesting.Simba501 wrote...

(Reave + Throw on a single kit is only unbalanced by Throw's detonate evo, though; prob why BW didn't give us a kit w/ that combo)

She has to get in range though. There's no similar downside/trade-off to Reave/Throw. I'd be fine with any detonating power that's not a grenade though. I just feel that Warp is a nice balance with its cooldown.
I think about it like this. If I'm out of Nades and Thermal clips/don't want to use one and I'm clutching a wave, I'd rather have Reave/Warp or other detonating power that's not a grenade.

. . . instead of Cluster nades/Pull.
He would've been my favorite biotic. It wouldn't be OP - the Dark Channel kits would still be more powerful, and his fitness is still low.
Would've also created a biotic combination that's different from the biotic monotony that exists now. Same goes for the Justicar - Warp instead of pull.
EDIT: Perhaps I should've prefaced with the fact that I despise picking up nades.
Justicar does have Warp. An undoge-able version of it no less. L2p, and coming from me, that's quite an insult.
(because I'm mediocre etc)

He's so damn fast with the explosions and throwing the grenades at Brutes and Ravagers is just awesome. Explosion frenzy!
I don't mind at all running around the map, looking for grenades. The time I lose not shooting I can easily make up for when I hurl the grenades at multiple enemies.
I score first or second almost always when playing silver with randoms.
I LOVE Pull. Lets me take out several small enemies at once in a matter of 2 seconds.
I like that combo a lot more than Warp/Throw.
Because pulled enemies can no longer harm you, I can run up to them and take my time.
I always run up real close to big enemies and throw the grenades right in their faces, so they get hit with full force.
I largely prefer the Drell to the Asari Justicar because of the grenades. The Justicar's bubble pretty is useless on silver.
I love running around the map like a manic, collecting grenades and throwing them at everything big. Allows for a rather aggressive playing style. I don't need to hide at all. I just run up to (or even into) the crowd and bomb their asses^^
Or I let the others draw fire while I stock up, then I come up from behind and BOOM!

Man, you should totally try him on gold. Then again, pull is pretty useless there, which is good because you can max everything else. Reave staggers, so you can take out gold marauders with a quick pull and shot of your gun. Clusters for groups.Kappa Neko wrote...

Not as effective as reave->cluster grenade overall.. but using Drell`s speed it can at least provide some different funs.

Pull blows. They should've replaced that with like, throw or something. The Fury and Drell blow her out of the water, as far as biotics go. What the **** happened to Asari being the top biotics? What happened to centuries of biotic training? Was the justicar we got a slacker?

Well, I don't care about the Drell, but I'm still a little butthurt over the Justicar not really being up to par with what we've been told in the Single Player.

Ik! Justicars are supposed to be top tier. Imagine if she had Reave, Warp, and the Bubble. That would live up to their lore.

Then we get to play one and, unlke Samarra and what we've heard, she's both ugly and terrible at biotics. Almost every other Adept in the game can kill something quicker with their biotics alone, yet she needs a weapon. I mean, she's great when specced right; I just can't get over how she doesn't really live up to the Justicars that we've heard about. All because of Pull.

You're right! We don't want the Acolyte to get lonely now.
Really I think it would be fair now, but when the game came out it would have been overpowered.

I've finally tried my Drell on gold. I used to choose the Asari before because of stasis against Cerberus. But that was when I still played with friends many months ago. I took a very long break and only started playing again two weeks ago. Lost all my skills it seemed at first;PFateNeverEnds wrote...

I did the coward thing and went into a white/geth lobby. We camped and I set up explosions with area reave. We killed enemies so ****ing fast! Then we got killed during the object retrieval >.< Twice... third time worked just fine.
the next time I was brave and chose random map/enemy. First time I got thrown into wave 2 of white/geth (lol). They weren't camping but running around the map like on silver. I thought: ok, this is gonna be a disaster, haha. But it went very well. I didn't die much. Even saved us all in one wave. Full extraction.
Same team, ghost/geth. No camping either. I hate that map... I died a lot more because we didn't stay together, but full extraction again.
Yesterday I played dagger/reapers, got killed by a banshee twice (grabbed me from behind, didn't see it) and didn't survive the extraction because I died a few seconds before the time was up. Somebody else was lone survivor. But I contributed^^
Hydra/Cerberus was a nightmare... I saved one wave thanks to five cobras *g* Mission scrubbed in wave 7 I think.
Those were all my Drell gold matches so far.
I still run around with the Phalanx btw ;D
So shooting doesn't get me very far. My best pistol is a Carnifex III... but I prefer a 200% cooldown for spamming biotics. Might need to rely more on weapon damage for gold, though. I get in trouble easily if I don't have grenades left and nobody around to back me up.
