Disruptor Rounds are useless! Or Not?

 I have like 120 disruptor rounds IV, and don't know what to do with them. I find them really only useful on the Krogan soldier to set up tech bursts with the falcon and detonate with carnage, but on any other kit I find AP-, Incendiary- or Warp- rounds a lot better. Any suggestions how to make good use of this stuff?Image IPB

They're not bad, they're just outclassed by other ammo types.

I like to use them on Sniper Rifles on Platinum. Phasics decrease damage to Armor and Health too much for my taste to use on Platinum, and Disruptor rounds strike a nice balance.

I like them on the Juggernaut because I can detonate tech bursts with them and Siege Pulse. I use them when I don't want to waste an incendiary ammo.

They are awesome against geth..other than that IDK. I supose the only realy good thing about it is that they stun

How so? From what I remember they both damage only health and shields/barriers, not armour...and the damage difference is a mere 10% (phasic III, disruptor IV).
I prefer disruptor to phasic for the stun chance and the possibility to detonate a TB, which is vastly underrated imho (largest radius of all combos).

Put them on a Vanguard, you silly, silly man/woman/girl/boy.

Or pretty much any tech class.

Phasics half your damage to Health/Armor, or at least, that's what i've noticed/have been told.

Listen to this man. It's also good on a PPR, turns into a long range Reegar.

put them on a widow and any class with an AOE detonator. you will tear them apart.

Put them on a vanguard with the Talon/Wraith, it makes one-shot kills vs. shielded mooks more of a sure thing, also procs techbursts, and stuns foot soldiers that you didn't kill.

Unfortunately I cannot host and therefore never play vanguards.

I host maybe 5% of my games and vanguards are my most used class.

I really don't think so, they just do less damage (15% max on level III) vs health and shields/barriers (shields/barriers get a better multiplier though, 10x vs 4x) than the disruptor rounds (25% on level IV), but other than that I don't recall anything else.

Also, Incendiary ammo>> Disruptor ammo for vanguards.

QME is already the one of best shield strippers in the game, even without disruptor rounds and Talon. He has only incinerate to deal with armor. And as we know nowadays, incinerate "synergizes quite well" with incendiary ammo.

FQE is my fave class for them. CB and Incinerate chew up armor and health as is, but her weakness is vs. shields and barriers; disruptor on a Talon w/ power amp covers that weakness perfectly, imo. Incinerate can snag a TB offa the ammo, which has a high proc rate on each Talon shot, and the gun in turn gets its own dmg bonus to shields/barriers (and is still strong enough on its own to not need a 2nd weapon).

Try spec'ing his nades for armor piercing. I like incendiary on him, but I actually like them on everything, and I don't have that much of them, so I'd rather use them with biotics or weapon classes. The QME is the king of TBs with disruptor, just shoot, incinerate for a TB, toss nade for a FE and if it's still alive incinerate again for another TB. It's overkill against any faction and their stun ability will save your life a lot. Arc nades stun too but they have a longer animation than your gun.

Use them on Male Quarian Engineer. Tech bursts for days.
