Hey,

It's probably the 103-proof Fighting **** talking (I know that's censored, but it's actually a whiskey name, just saying), but if nobody has tried starting from scratch again, it's worth a try for laughs.

Jeremiah12LGeek from XBox made a PSN account from scratch. I had a secondary one that my husband mainly uses as a second online racing account, so I bogarted that for a new ME3 MP account. N7 1's from scratch with nothing. Not even our starter packs opened. Went into U/U/B with no medigel, no thermal clips, no rockets, and no ops packs. Level 1 starter common weapons with zero mods. No equipment. And 1 skill point to use.

It was a rebirth, it was raw... but it was hilarious and fun. If it's something you and at least one friend can do, it is TOTALLY worth it. I forgot how much fun it was to randomly unlock low-level things. After that first bare bones match, we agreed to open our starter packs and discovered you get the last two gift packs from BioWare, too... one guaranteeing an N7 promo weapon and one guaranteeing a Reckoning character (I also confirmed that new players have Quick Match already set to Unknown/Collectors/Platinum... Jesus Christ!).

We both unlocked Cabals after the first match and went to town on Silver after that. Both of us recorded video of the matches from each perspective, so those will be going up as soon as we can edit and upload them (maybe this thread can serve that purpose?).

But seriously, if you are looking for something fun and different to do, start over again if you can do a free account. It's hysterical to play the game with almost nothing but your knowledge. For example, totally unplanned, we'd both picked the human sentinel to start as N7 1. I specced into Warp, he specced into Throw, and we tried to stay together to cause BE's. Hilarity (and success) ensued.

xbox sucks cause we have to get gold to play online.

other then that. free gold weekends or passes would do it nicely

It's more fun than it sounds. I'll be glad to have gear again, though!

One of my friends started a new account to experience the thrill of getting new stuff in packs again. He's now well on his way towards a 2nd maxed manifest and 2nd Best of the Best.
I don't think I'd have the patience or commitment to do that but your idea sounds like it might be a bit of fun.

It's true that it was kinda refreshing to start all over again though.

Lots of alcohol was involved on my end, but it's still kinda fun. Being excited to unlock a shotgun smart choke is hysterical after months of level 4 consumables/hope for an UR cycle.

Am finding I'm not missing gear at all with the Cabal. Would be nice to get Geth Scanner, but so far, she doesn't need anything at all for Bronze/Silver. The Gold experiment may erase that opinion. LOL

I'm still mad you unlocked a Turian Sentinel though. Bastard.

Oh, trust me, no patience or commitment to max this one out. My primary still needs 3 more banners for BOTB, URs to max, and S.P.E.C.T.R.E. to join, but this was an interesting experiement. It is, however, just a side experiment. My main account is still my baby.

Found two cheap copies of ME3 PC, just gotta wait for them to arrive, it'll be interesting coaching a fresh player too

I tried it once.

Got boring quickly. Jumped into platinum but it was annoying with no piercing mods. Even gold was rough. No piercing makes guardians incredibly annoying.

You know, the refreshment feeling works both ways. After about 50 hours of starting new, it made me appreciate my gear, mods, consumables, weapons, characters ect. Grenade gear is a big one because it really limits some classes without one. You'll learn to have fun with your OP stuff once again.

If you have an 2nd account don`t you have to rebuy the game? I just keep playing and do the challeges and it says x2/3/4 completed Unless you mean as if you just starting MP for the 1st time?

I think it's just nice to have things to unlock, rather than swimming through lvl4s hoping to get an UR..

Having nothing on my PS3 account is pretty fun, though the complete lack of piercing mods can be irksome at times. I will unlock you one day!
On my few PC games, I hoarded my credits, got a spectre pack with a Lancer ^.^ which is my pride and joy seeing as my next best weapon is the Avenger III xD

Though ecks bawks is my castle, and I STILL need that manifest maxing

Bryan Johnson can do that for you. You should send him a message if you want to get your manifest wiped.

For those wondering what brand new newbies see, I have stated before (from seeing other videos) that after Retaliation, the default for Quick Match was changed from Unknown/Unknown/Unknown to Unknown/Collectors/Platinum. Here is video proof:

I meant like you are starting MP for the very first time. Apparently, a new code is not needed on PS3 (from what I can tell). I have my one PS3 with my DragonRacer13 main account on it, and that's the account I used my ME3 MP online pass code with. I made a second account on the same PS3. Now, I had bought the ME Trilogy when it came out last December so I could have ME1 on hard disc instead of a download, so I had a new online pass code from that to use if needed. But when I fired up that second account on my PS3, it did not prompt me for an online pass code.

F-ing hate you. Almost guarantee you that Wave 7 Silver Collector wipe would not have happened if I had in my possession a Turian Sentinel, especially with even just a Mattock I. I know that combo almost as intimately as I know my husband... okay, well, maybe not THAT much, but you catch my drift.
