I did it on my sister's account a few months ago. I found it really fun trying to make do with 2 gels and ****ty weapons. Once I got to max gels and rockets, I figured I could manage in gold and plat even with lacking gear. I played about 50h before realizing I'd better max my own manifest first. And of course switching back to my own account felt so comfy after that. It's so nice to have all characters and weapons unlocked.

I "started over" by starting to play on PC a few months ago vs my XBOX account. I've had mixed success. Whereas I can kick ass on Gold and up on XBOX- I'm struggling to get through Gold pugs on PC. It's demoralizing. Even with my forte characters. It's to the point where I don't even want to bother..the PUG quality is tougher. Or you know maybe since I just cannot play with the same finesse (due to HABITS of using a controller) I just cannot carry on Gold like I can XBOX.
Anyway- starting over was fun until I just got to the point where I feel like I'm literally wasting time on PC PUGS. :\\

This was for a lark, really. I might pursue the PSN account from the video, but I have another, more advanced one on PSN already.

And on PSN, I'm really only there to play with friends, so I fully expect to be carried.

It's their duty, after all.

Most of my time is still spent grinding challenges on XBL.

That "start over" business might seem fun for some people, I respect their opinion thoug I don't share it.

The reason is simple: I worked hard (and that means more than 4300 games played so far) to get all my banners (inlcuded the BOTB and all the 25 challenges for the Squad Elite) so starting over for me would be as wanting to get back to high school after obtaining a PHD in Harvard

But if you insist, I wish you good luck and a lot of fun

Actually, good thing you left whatever Plat room that was, because we both agreed beforehand not to burden a Platinum PUG with newbie kits. I showed what Quick Match was defaulted to because "lulz", but I hosted an U/U/B, invited Jeremiah in, then opened to public. So, whatever you landed in wasn't us and probably would have been horrific.

I challenge grind and carry on DragonRacer13 and play larks on CREEPINGxxDEATH. I should get a friggin' medal! LOL

But seriously @ MrsAnomaly - I have entertained the idea of getting ME3 for my laptop. It ran ME1 okay-ish. But I just hate hate hate keyboard and mouse. I grew up on a controller. It's hard to break that habit and I honestly just don't want to.

I am totally going to try this in a few minutes. I only need 2 UR weapons and have 1 banner to get BotB. (Nomad) But, I too am a little tired of wading through level 4 consumables attempting to get a maxed manifest. It's become... unfun.

I'm LOLing at the fact that the first "Upcoming Challenge Completions" listing is Bloodpack Mastery 0% 0 of 9 when I have used not one thing that would count towards it. It's actually ahead of the Commando Mastery one, where the Cabal waves actually count towards it.

Agreed, from my time carrying Gold PUGs on DragonRacer13! LOL

Jeremiah wants to level up in one more Silver, I think, before we Gold PUG it. Or, hell, just Gold duo it like this. I don't care. I'll try anything once... well, mostly anything.

Just after we stopped playing, I switched to a local beer with a higher percentage than I'm used to. I've been drinking that for the last six hours before recording the narration for it. Which I haven't listened to, yet. I should probably listen to it before I finish uploading it.

Should we start a single thread for all of these? I trust your judgment more than mine, at the moment. 

I really should listen to my ramblings before they finish uploading...
