I've had a similar experience, but with some UR guns. Been able to try the BPP and the Valkyrie, so that's nice  I do miss my Wraith VI though

I switched to PC recently. It really puts things in perspective having low level weapons and just 2 medigels per game. Luckily i managed to get a Valiant in my starter pack, so i can play on gold with an infiltrator.

There are limitations on it, that I haven't completely sorted out.

But yes, it is possible to have several accounts on the same machine, using the same copy of the game. Not everyone can get it to work, but I haven't figured out what the specifics are.

When I made my alternate, I just made a new user and signed up for a new PSN ID. No new online pass required.

I unlocked the Phalanx the other day :']

So i tried this last night I created an alternate PSN ID that matches my ID here
and then I went into ME3 and tried to play multiplayer and it wanted me to create a new origin ID
it was at that point that my laziness took over and I decided I had had enough typing in text boxes using the PS3 controler for the night
