 So, I need opinions for which way I should play my Asari Huntress.  As of late, I've been playing her by mainly using Warp + Incendiary cheese, which is obviously very useful. But, I know of the other way to play her with 'splosion use, and that would sacrifice Incendiary ammo over Warp ammo. 

Which is a better playstyle?

I detest the huntress, so I don't have a lot of gameplay experience with her, but DoT is probably going to net more DPS than BEs.

Better as far as DPS? I think you know the answer to that. I use Incendiary on Platinum and warp rounds on Gold personally. There really is no need for the extra cheese on Gold.

Go with the max damage DC. Might as well since its probably the best DoT with just one power.

I can't even imagine playing her in any other way. Getting a chain of of BEs by having that Dark Channel jumping around is just crazy satisfying.

You only need to switch ammo to change between playstyles, so this isn't even an issue.
I play her with 6/6/6/5/3 for full power damage in passives/TC and pierce/expose for DC/Warp. She can't fire off BEs as quickly as the Fury or Valkyrie, but she does insane damage with every single power. TC > DC > shoot > TC > Warp = boom.

You don't need incendiary, just use warp ammo. It's working as intended, and still seriously sick and you also get wonderful cloaked DC damage.

I am not as good with her as I should be for getting lots of explosions other on bosses. Dark Channel is such a great fire and forget power though. If you really boost up your biotic damage via consumables and gear it is amazing how fast it chews through opponents.

Zap, bang and warp ammo. Is there any other way to play her?

She's my, not sure if this PUG lobby can make it and default Platinum kit.

Warp rounds or gtfo.

Take your incendiary cheese and shove it up your QME:P

Cloak -> DC -> Shoot with Warp Rounds. All you need

Why not both? TC -> DC -> shoot -> TC -> Warp -> shoot. Use warp rounds on her, and save the incendiary for the Valk, AIU, etc., IMHO.

wha.... people kept kicking me for trying to use that setup a month ago. every lobby for an hour.

she's awesome. use DC + warp ammo instead of warp incendiary cheese. go TC with 25% power damage. 66653 and i use a saber for mid to long range shooting. just TC---> DC shoot enemy when it dies then TC ---> warp to detonate BE you can get consecutive BE as DC jumps to nearest enemy. this kit is just fun to play on gold as there are a lot of mooks that DC can attach itself too.

it does not increase BE damage but it increases the damage on warp and DC.  that's why you got to take the 25% power damage bonus on TC.  i read somewhere and they tested when you use power while cloak your powers are buff for its duration that's why DC is OP on huntress.

Just can't play her to save my life. I'm not having as much fun as say, Valkyrie. Maybe I should try PPR. 

And I tried to troll you with shockwave last night with no success.

and when you trigger an explosion with warp, does the warp damage hits the target before the explosion damage or is there just the explosion damage ? because if there's only the explosion damage then it doesn't make sense to TC before right ?

To be totally honest any ammo mod is over powered on her gold and below. (even explosive rounds)
the only thing you need to do is Cloak DC, warp re cloak rinse and repeat.

i believe it you use warp has the enhanced damage will be applied before biotic explosion.  the warp's enhanced DOT after BE should still be there so it's better to cloak first.

:innocent: sorry i'm not bothered by shockwave but is it annoying really? what about ES and smash? i don't really like those powers but i just use them for tech and biotic challenges.
