Electronic Entertainment Expo is only a month away, which will take place in Los Angeles Convention Center June 11-13. This year will be a special one for us DA fans, since DAIII: Inquisition will have its official reveal! The purpose of this thread is to cover everything DA related that will happen at E3, everything from trailers to info. This will make it easier to have evrything in one place, so people will know where to look, and as well as prevent BSN flooding with 5 same threads of DAIII trailers and so forth.

This thread will be updated reguraly on any news regarding DA's presence at E3, links to which livestreams to watch if you intend to follow all the happenings at E3. I will also host a chat for people to join somthe community can discuss the events and impressions on the news shown at E3.

EA Next-Games will be playable at E3. Whether or DA3 will be one of them is not confirmed.

As per E3 coverage, I am expecting 1-3 trailers that are 90 seconds or less.

We will probably get one trailer just to show us what we are dealing with..

Or there could be three:
-SP Gameplay
-SP Storytelling
-MP

Or any two of the list above. Outside that, I am expecting a multitude of ambiguous statements to maximize speculation, with relatively few *definite* statements. Also, potentially more entertaining quotes from Gaider on privilege.

We will probably get the set of three eventually, but not at this year's E3. Probably much later in the dev cycle when all the release promotion kicks in. However, it's still a possibility.

Regardless of which route they take, it'd be much more than we have now.

The only negative potential I see is if they heavily emphasize romances at E3, in which case kill me now.

That seems reasonable. Best case scenario would probably be 1 trailer, 10 minutes each of legit single and multiplayer gameplay, and some dev interviews. That sort of coverage does sometimes happen at E3, and would be great to see here.

Not sure what to expect, but considering this will be the first "real" unveiling of DA3, I'm pretty certain BW will make it quite a spectacle, I hope.

The official E3 site doesn't have any info on where or when they will show DA3 related info, but I will update it when it turns up.

I'm hoping that we get a proper gameplay trailer rather than a full blown CGI one. Don't get me wrong, the Origins one was brilliant but I'd like to actually see some gameplay and how the game looks.

Whatever we get , I'm sure it will feel like "not enough" ...
They probably won't show everything at E3 , they have months of promo ahead of them.

But I hope I'm going to squee out loud , or just be excited.
Sometimes I'm in the "nitpicky" mood and it ruins all the fun.
I suppose the first look will be all action packed and "this is so cool" vibe ...usually that's how you sell games to the masses.( boobs and blood)

Somebody knows how things work at E3?
LIke a big show with trailer and then game team have their panel ?

Haha dude Rockstar, MS, and Sony are going to steal the show with new IP's and hardware featuring.

Bioware will give us CGI, that's it. But who cares honestly when there's all that goodness to take in!

While it would be nice if we got some in-game trailers, I would be perfectly fine with a CGI one. They're usually pretty damn awesome, and it would certainly get me pumped up for the game.

I just want a gameplay demo and some details. I will be very disappointed if they just drop a CGI trailer at E3. That pretty much guarantees it won't be out this year too.

Makes sense that the delay to reveal until E3 is because this is a next gen game. Lots of other major current and even cross gen games have already been revealed, even though most of them are still very much in development. Xbox delaying its reveal perhaps pushed back the DA3, reveal as well.

Well, seeing as how the publisher is EA, we will most likely see whatever BioWare will reveal about the game in the EA press conference. I mean they might show something in the other conferences, but I'm betting it will most likely going to happen in the EA one. Also they will show the basic stuff that we can expect to see. New or improved gameplay mechanics, with two trailers at the least, one for certain. Most likely a story based trailer is what they will do, and it is probably going to be something that has CGI in it and not with the actually gameplay mechanics. Or a SP trailer with it's gameplay mechanics. As for MP they may show how it might work, but I don't think we'll see that trailer till like September, or like a month before it's demo comes out.  If their is going to be a demo and seeing as how BioWare's last few games had demos their mostly will be a demo.  Am speculating all of this but am saying this is a likely outcome. Regardless if this is BioWare's or EA's choice they aren't going to show all of the trailers and content that will grasp are interest they have planned and at E3, just the basic which are new (and basic) content/mechanics, improvements, and teaser stuff.

Dammit, this thread made me look forward to the DA3 release. And I was thinking I'd adapt the wait-and-see approach with this game.

I would prefer NOT to get a CGI trailer. I would just like a gameplay demo and some info.
