DA games don't really lend themselves to the multiplayer angle. I think it would be a big mistake to put MP in a DA game. It might work fine in some other formerly single player games, but not DA.

I thought the same(and still do) about ME, but people seemed to think it was a success. Ideally it wouldn't be on the disc. I'll settle for it not interfering with the SP campaign.

Well, I'd still say what I DESIRED from the Big Reveal that was supposed to show not tell still remains the same. But I've known all along that if this was set to go down at E3, it was going to only be a CG trailer, or, "at best" actual gameplay footage of someone staring at how super shiny the water effects are with FB3. 

At least CG trailers are pretty.  Maybe it'll have good music.

Yeah it wasn't DA Origins, but it wasn't supposed to be. I played DA 2 first and only bought Origins to see what everyone was complaining about. They both have their flaws and their positive points. Supposedly DA 3 will take the best of both games and influence from Skyrim, open world exploration I assume. I'm looking forward to E3, even if it's a 5 second trailer, at least it's something. And I wouldn't mind co-op, so someone else could take over a companion character while dungeon crawling. It could be do-able if approached right.

Part of me wants to go into these days with no expectations at all, which would result in me hopefully being blown away by what they show us. The other part of me is quickly starting to build up hype in an alarmingly accelerating speed. Cinematic Blur Studio trailer, actual gameplay, maybe a look at one of the companions, customization or story... I don't know. Anything could happen, but it may as well be just a DA3 logo and talk about the engine without anything shown.

Gah, here's to hoping for the best.

I actually love DA2. Even a little bit better than Origins. I can see it has a lot of flaws, if only they had more time to develop the game...

Seconded. DA2 had some aspects that were superior to DA:O to me, and I hope that DA3 melds all the best aspects of the two games together.

Wouldn't it be funny if they spent the whole time giving teasers for ME4 LOL.

I love ME but I would have to laugh myself silly over this! I can't imagine the BSN fallout after. the FanRAGE would be toxic here.

At this point any Mass effect announcements at all would probably just be met with apathy or else be totally ignored. It's not worth the attention, really.

The day they announce ME4 , I'm getting out of here.
I really doubt it's going to be a RPG , my bet is they are going to try to make a war/shooter game in the ME universe.

That right there in a nutshell is DA 2's most glaring flaw, not enough time in development. I keep hoping Varric makes a return. Easily my favorite character out of both games.
