His whole "conversation start-up scene" in ME1 was wierd.

Not to mention the whole..."I don't want you to think I'm a...a whiner".

However, I can't say he was annoying...because you're not forced to talk to him.

It's just a bad / misplaced cut scene, if you ask me. It always came with a "rainbow" touch, if your Shep was male, but it works if it's a Jane Shepard.

However, it's not a reason to dislike Kaidan.
His voice? Well, it's fine. Without starting anything, but at least Sbarge put some emotions in Kaidan's voice. A certain blue favorite character lacks emotions fairly often ...

I mean, the guy made that ending video so I can understand why Seival would find him annoying, god forbid people negatively criticize anything BioWare does, but usually Seival has plenty of ridiculous and empty arguments he zealously believes to dismiss stuff like that, so I don't see what the problem is.

I have to say it was Kaidan's voice that just grated on me. I never played the other games you guys are talking about. It's that voice. And even during the interviews, same thing. The character himself, I don't have any problem with, but his voice.

I know most people hate Han'Gerrel, but I love the character, but I love the voice actor (I couldn't kill Loghain either), and love Daro'Xen (Claudia Black? What's not to like?). I love Shala'Ra'an's voice, and I just wish she was a stronger character.

But we're talking about annoying characters..., right. Miranda was always kind of b*tchy. I think she looked at Shepard as a science project. It would have set up a more interesting dynamic in the ME2 if there was a power struggle between Miranda and Shepard.

Anything Batarian was annoying.
The Hanar. "The Enkindlers!" ... big stupid jellyfish.

I can see not liking them the way other people do...but hating them and finding them annoying...

I have no problem with her personality (I liked her better in ME1 though). I have no problems with her when I play the german version (my first language). But her original voice...I cant stand hearing her

Yes, she's very good imo. Here is the german version of her Citadel DLC song...



I think it is a huge improvement over the original one.

But I installed the english version of ME3 because in general I like the VO better (especially FemShep and Liara). Tali and Kaidan are the only ones I didn't like.
