Two things.

1) PUG does not mean bad player or players with bad load outs etc. PUG is a player in a public game and there are just loads who are very good, very competent and very talented. If you want to talk about bad load outs or bad players talk about them but tossing every single public player into 'pug' is pretty meaningless.

2) It's a MASSIVE bonus to see players equip anything other than gear so I really don't care if they make a load out mistake.

a PUG saved my life yesterday.

just sayin, guy went out of his way with 20 seconds left on extraction to nuke the mob around me and rez my out-of gels corpse and get us both into the extraction zone. on platinium.

sent a message thanking him, and he replies "that's what teammates are for".

yes ppl they're out there, good PUGS.

I'd like to know why there are 3 red skulls when I drop into an ongoing game on wave one. I can't comprehend that at all, and it happens quite a bit.

Like I said before in some topic yesterday..... You have to be selective as hell and shop around in lobbies. In gold wen playing with other good players they will stick to the lobby or send message if they have "waiting on other player" screen, asking for invite. I never ever leave the lobby for shopping purposes. If I have found a good party, I just save my credits and buy in bulk after I leave the lobby.

If you go out and search competent players then you shall find them and by the goddess ... befriend them, befriend them befriend them. Not all out there wear there pants on their heads.

And a tip... If you have the "waiting for other players" screen, if you are NOT the host then just wait, at some point you will be dropped in teh lobby or at the start of a new game. If you are the host then leave... then you get to start a new game but you can't move... And get kicked from the game.

I've done stupid load outs while swapping characters. Eh, sh*t happens.

I forget to change gear and weapon consumables sometimes, particularly gear because back in my day there was none of this fancy permanent gear crap. Kids these days are spoiled. Also because when I play the game doesn't always have my full attention, I may have someone irl talking to me or might have something open in another window if on PC.

Mostly because of leecher starting as single host.
They are just being smart though. This way, they don`t get kicked and can hide their identity at the same time.

I no longer try to decipher what is going on in their heads. I just assume they are all crazy, not ready for Gold and selfish, and then its a pleasure on those rare occasions when they are neither.

That's actually not really too bad. You are playing against Cerberus. That mod will allow this player to see through the Atlas smoke and get his/her shots in....
