Yeah, 3 targets. Given that the wave spawns were pretty much perfect, it's possible to finish wave 8 and 9 in three missiles if you get lucky and everyone else has Drill Snipers.

in fact, wave 7 is the only one that requires 4 missiles, 1 and 2 are consistently done in 2, everything else in 3. timing for some of them is harder than others, though, 4 is a byotch. <_<

Seriously though, congrats.  It's hard for me to imagine a better strategy better executed than what I've seen, so this might be the true capstone to ME3 speedrunning (at least for faster times.)

Why do you need drill ammo for waves 8 or 9? or any wave for that matter. They are perfectly done with 3 missiles everytime, no need to clean up if timing is right. Check both the PS3 and Xbox videos I am doing those waves on both.

cricketer keeps on getting me up after 3 hours of sleep, i can only snipe well at the end of the day, not the start. when the video finishes uploading (goddammit youtube stop throttling me at 800kbps) you'll see me being a completely crap sniper but i know i can do much better in the evenings so i don't give a damn. need more coffee.

in order to have enough missiles for targets wave 8 is a little inconsistent, and wave 4 needs the snipers because the ****ing engineers get stuck in the back sometimes.

I can do some things pretty well early in the morning, but for me sniping is a late night thing. If you catch me at 4am when I haven't slept at all, I'll be getting 20 headshots before 25 kills, but if you get me at 4am after sleeping fuqit i couldn't hit an atlas half the time.

... that said, I had a beautiful double phantom/pyro kill at some point, I deleted that video (not enough harddrive space to keep bad runs ) but I might see if I can dig that one back up just to clip that shot.

Wait for the banshees to begin screaming on 9 and as soon as they beging their wailing let loose. On wave 8 the phantooms are the last to spawn give them a second, it usually happens at the same time the atlas fires a rocket at you so make sure you duck after you let loose.

Aizen is right it's all the timing of the missles waves 1-2 2 missles waves 3-4-8-9 in 3 missles and wave 7 in 4 missles only thing might change is waves 7 if didn't get timing right having fire a 5th missle
