You are asking for Turian Sentinel for the answer here.

...unless people think he is a crutch too...

why would he be? nothing overwhelming about him.

Turian Sentinel, vorcha Sentinel, human Sentinel, quarian Infiltrator (both), N7 Destroyer, turian Soldier, quarian Marksman, geth Trooper (Pill0's PPR setup), human Adept, Phoenix Adept, drell Adept, quarian Engineer (both), salarian Engineer, drell Vanguard, human Vanguard, N7 Slayer or Juggernaut if I'm hosting.

I like to be diverse.

Anything. I actually prefer PUGs for the rather ineffective setups so there's enough stuff to kill. Best way to test whether stuff works or belongs on the junkyard.

Except his good looks, charismatic personality, and TECH ARMOR.

Quarian Marksman with the Saber, Human Soldier with the Claymore, and Novaguard with Wraith. N7 classes outside of Shadow, the super infiltrators, flamers, fire cheesers, and grenadiers are not included in well balanced kits imo. Yes I know HS has grenades, but they aren't so great :o

Every kit is a crutch. Every weapon is a crutch. If you aren't going Volus melee (love bubble, not Batarian Gauntlet) then you are OP and relying on crutches.

nothing like hard tech-armor, scaly lips, and the willingness to call others amateurs!

Well... I did say he is a top-tier kit with respect Image IPB

After numerous buff, he became exceptionally good.
Fitness buff, Weapon passive buff, Warp glitch, tech explosion buff all work in favor of him.

I rarely see any Turian Sentinel doing very bad in PuG... although he,himself is a rare sight to be seen...

I know he used to be 'jack of all trades, master of none'  character... but he almost feels like master of all lately..

I am not saying he is crutch though. ..but some people might see him to be still to powerful or something.

Honestly I would have to go with the old school human soldier. The classic is a powerhouse.

What counts as well-balanced? I love Drellguarding. I also love the vanilla Krogan Sentinel. Collector Adept is fun. Drell Adept. Slayer too. Asari Adept. Asari Vanguard. QFE.

Go down that list from start to finish until you hit one that's considered 'well-balanced,' because that term seems to be subjective as all ****, but I figure somewhere on that list there's something that's considered well-balanced.

smashguard with full powers and melee spec is so fun. He is the only vanguard who can consistently self-detonate, and its really easy to get all the melee bonus's in his favor

Don't understand why people don't bring kits they can use to "roflstomp everything effortlessly and stress-free" or, at least take their weaker kits to silver or bronze instead!    I play in teams to get quick runs, not solo 'cause players are dying right and left.

When I saw the thread title I thought "well-balanced" was going to be about kits you take into U/U games 'cause they work ok with all enemies/all maps.

You seem upset. Is it because  you make so many bad assumptions?

Sorry ... don't know what you are referring to?  Yeah, guess upset -- bad game last night soloing collectors gold 'cause of dead pugs.  Also, so many threads asking for kit recommendations.

Krogan sentinel.
I'd say collector adept, but the lag is a big problem.

You called, m'lady:D

TSent is a good shout for a well-balanced kit, actually. Most of the two-CD adepts (aka not Drell, Fury or Batarians). Human Engineer. Novaguard. Huntress. Vorcha Soldier. Nothing with grenades and not most of the infiltrators, I guess.
