Will Alistair and Fiona Meet in Inquisition?

thought that his mother was a human who died, and asked Duncan to watch over him.
Alistair thought that his mother was a maid in the king's palace who died upon his birth.
It seems likely that Fiona is indeed Alistair's mother (I for one didn't see the vaguest resemblance
between Alistair and Goldanna). Also, She's a mage-warden, which may account for him surviving the
joining and showing promise as a templar.
As of 9:39 Dragon, the grand enchanter (who traditionally lives in Val Royeaux) has been the same Fiona.
So if "Inquisition" is indeed to be set in Orlais, is anyone expecting (or indeed hoping for) a dramatic mother-son reunion? It would stand to reason that Alistair would show up in Orlais, to help Celene I figure out what to do
about the mage-templar war, and he would be able to sense another warden in the vicinity, why wouldn't he go
and check her out? Perhaps he sees something of her in himself, perhaps she had his eyes or his mannerisms? With this information, does anyone expect to see king alistair finally find his family?

According to the timeline in World of Thedas, Alistair was born four years before the events of The Calling. So I don't really see how Fiona could be his mom. However, this does mean there's another one of Maric's children out there in Thedas if this dragon blood thing that's being explored in the comics becomes an important part of the story. Even if Alistair isn't in your version of Thedas the Theirin bloodline lives on.

But it would be cooler if it turned out Fiona's kid is another one!

I totally thought Alistair was actually the baby that Fiona and Duncan brought to Maric for, like, years. I've recently changed my opinion on that one.

The timeline on WoT is wrong.

You do know you're going to have to provide proof?

Likely. Whether or not he will recognise her as his mother is disputable.
I can see Alistair now..

Personally I haven't read or seen that book yet so it is hard to say, for now. However, we also have to remember the fact that the Alistair could of died back in DA:O in either the Landsmeet or the Battle for Denerim. Don't get me wrong it would be very interesting to see, but it won't have as big an impact if they aren't related. My question for now is, is their a third son?

I would assume there is a third son, by die hard fans are dead set on putting Alistair as Fiona's son for some reason. I think all that fanfiction has gotten to their brains >.>.

It's not a secret she used to be a Warden, I think.
Been some time since I read it, but isn't it mentioned in Asunder too?
