The Inquisitor walks into a room, Alistair shows up and explains he's a Grey Warden who traveled with the Hero of Ferelden and met with the Champion of Kirkwall and how they were both fantastic, he loudly proclaims "SWOOPING IS BAD" and leaves doing airplane noises.

If you're married with him, he says the Hero of Ferelden is a fantastic wife and wink at the screen to make the player feel as if their choice truly matters.

I feel like this is a subtle jab at DA2

I'm not even supposed to be on the BSN right now. I blame all typos and picture posting on that fact.

Shame on you then.

Actually... I'd love it if Leliana was one of the antagonists. Trying to do the work of the Maker, it turns out her visions and inspiration from the Maker have all been a demon trying to rip a whole in the world to devour the living alive! Mwuahahahaaaa!!!

This I would love and fully support. No one would expect it.

The intro of DA3 will be every former companion having a family gathering and then being crushed by an asteroid so they don't have to take into account all the relationship/things they might have done.

You can then make a sword out of that asteroid. Perhaps name it after one of them.

The OGB will be amongst the magic asteroid crash. And the Warden and Hawke. And the asteroid will be made out of Element Zero.

*Snip*

And halfway through the game you learn that the Inquisitor was inside that asteroid. With your pet griffon, who unfortunately died softening your fall.

Seriously though, if we run into Sten(who is now the new Arishok), how is that going to work out?

I like to imagine he'll behave exactly like the other Arishok except be stroking a fluffy white kitten in his throne.

It's a rather amusing mental image.

I wonder if Oghren is drinking and killing. Or killing his drinking?

In all honesty, wouldn't The Qun demand that Sten act exactly like the old Arishok? Otherwise, that might imply that one if them was acting outside the Qun's demands.

All companions are old...maybe some of them got Alzheimer already...

Alistair and the Warden maybe have been corrupted, they should be dead in the Deep Road, they can't live more than 30 years isn't it?

Isabella is old woman, not sexy anymore (maybe having syphilis)

Zevran retired from being assassin, maybe got syphilis, the Crow don't bother to hunt him down anymore

Wayne died of old age, the spirit get it's expiry date already

Sten died from diabetes for eating too much cookies, candy and cakes

Oghren got many complications because of being an alcoholic, and die

Leliana...well she's unique, maybe there are clones of Leliana claiming the Maker don't want her to die...yet

Morrigan becoming like Flemeth and talk like Flemeth...the baby have grown up 15-20 years old emo

Dog...he die alongside the Warden in the Deep Road

Shale, maybe she manage to become dwarf woman again, then die...

Edit :

Merill got possessed by demon after failing on her experiment with Blood Magic

Aveline having babies and becomeing house wife

Varric return to Orzamar, become a rich old merchant, but then got assassinated by competitors

Anders going insane, having identity problem, later burning farms and houses, then die killed by renegade Templars

They'll probably just be fatter...or dead.

Leliana looks way hotter now though, I might have to replay origins and put her in check before Inquisition.

Comic Alistair seems vastly different at the least. So does comic Isabela so I'm hoping that if they appear in the game there will be at least some trace of that.

Well, the comics follow a particular set of decisions being made, so I don't know. Would be interesting.

I want one of them to get an eye-patch. And have it never explained.

Alistair would be easy to add. Just put him on his Calling. Kinda takes care of either ending of his in previous games. Unless he's dead of course, but then again, maybe "that's the rumor". (bleh!)

Sten is Sten. I wouldn't expect him to be much different from what he was. That's Qunari for ya.

Oghren, still drunk and trying to find his pants while cleaving as many darkspawn in two as he can.

Velanna was the first character I thought of when I saw this. I could totally see her being overconfident in a fight and just barely managing to walk away, but with an eye missing. She's not very popular though, so I'll be surprised if she even gets a cameo.

Anyway, I hope we don't get umbrella character development like in ME3, where most characters just had leadership thrown at them because of Shepard.

The Answer:

Image IPB

On another note, I liked how they handled Nathaniel. He wasn't a caricature of his past self, was still recognizable personality-wise, and I loved how they had him embrace his grey-wardenhood. If we ever run into a past companion, I'd like them handled in a similar manner: logical, not over-the-top evolution.

Also, King Alistair wasn't that bad, if you forgive the extremely clumsy SiB.

Shale has an eye-patch, you question her reasons why and she suddenly goes on a tangent about birds.

I like Drunk Alistair, but Christ, they could've made him look more like his DAO self. He was too DA2'd
