Right after the cutscene when prompted to leave with Bishop, tha game crashes to desktop. During the cutscene, Bishop says something about rescuing Shandra is not his problem then it pans over to Duncan, whose mouth moves but is silent. Then Bishop says something about a due being paid off and the dialog option to follow Bishop right away or stay in the tavern comes up. No matter what option I choose the game first pans back over to Duncan, then immediatly crashes. It does not seem to be a script executing, because with that issue, the game does not crash, you are simply stuck without being able to progress. 

I am simply out of ideas here. :/

EDIT: Turns out my patcher was not working properly! I manually patched and everything works now.
