Ok, I posted this before but the guy that was suppose to help out just vanished from the forum so I HAVE to post it again...
I can't do this myself and I don't know if anyone would be interested in helping out, so even though I don't really have a lot of money to spare I'm willing to actually pay to get them done because I REALLY want to finish this module and it's a must for it.

I need to get help to convert the "lisa staves" animations from nwn1 ( http://nwvault.ign.c....Detail&id=1727 ) or create a new walking and standing animations that looks just like it for nwn2. I only need standing and walking animations with the staff (i think that there are long staff models and there is no need for a new staff model) and no battle or running animations needed.

this would help ALOT, more then alot... so pretty please, with sugar on top, help me out!

If the animations were only for NPCs who didn't use the staves in combat, then you could fake things by using a cloned staff model renamed to match the torch object conventions. Then you could create equipable 'torch' items for your NPCs to hold. You'd probably have to drop the staff down in the Z axis though (the MDB Tool would do that easily).

It's for PC also :(
but there is no need for combt animations... why only NPCs?

I tried the torch method. Unfortunately the torch idle animation has them waving it about too much, while the torch walking animation has them holding it too stiffly.

The method wouldn't work for PCs, since the 'staff'' would actually be a torch model held in the off-hand, rather than a staff usable in combat.

It did give me an excuse to convert one of the candelabra models into a torch model though, and I've found a lantern model that would also make a good torch variant. So at least *I* got something out of the experiments.

[Edit: Here are the results]

Hehe, well, first off I'm happy it worked out for you :)
Well, if its possible to make the torch look like a staff when holding-standing and walking I don't care about the fact it's not a "real" staff and you can't fight with it...
Is it possible to change the standing and walking to make it look good?

I would be glad to help, but regretfully I don't have the answers to your questions, or the skills to do what you want, so I hadn't said anything.
