Truthfully, think I have gotten more friend requests due to clutching in PUGs than for any other reason. Sometimes it is a vehicle to helping newer players succeed at getting better. And even when I get sync killed and someone else has to clutch, it is fun to watch a skilled player finish the wave off and send them a thanks at the end of it. As long as it doesn't happen too often, it is a fun element of the game.

I can stand doing most of the killing, but absolutely hate having to solo more than one wave. I don't think I'll bother trying if that happens in a PUG game again because I don't need the credits anymore.

Had 240,000 points at wave 10...mission failed. waste

I might if I was good enough to do it easily but soloing waves is v stressful and I usually use up at least 1 medi gel.

Was happier yesterday with gold match , our scores were all v similar (I got 70, they got 80 60 60k), everyone did objectives and tried to help revive . The only irritation was that only the leader and I bothered to gel (on wave 9 the others bled out whereas he and I used gel and finished wave together , and one of them bled out on 2 other waves) and to use rockets on wave ten assassinations .

I don't like carrying, as a matter of fact I don't like having the high score by a lot. I far prefer to be # 2,3 or 4 on the list and have a fun smooth game. For an average bsn player like me the match is in real jeopardy if I have a huge score. The two highest scores I've had in the last 2 or 3 weeks have resulted in match fails, one mid way through wave 9 when I had about 168,000 and one on wave 10 where I had a similar amount.

I used to love the smug satisfaction of carrying crappy pugs.

now it is getting tiresome, and makes me lose faith in humanity when this is the reality of almost all the pugs the last month or so.

No, we don't. It's like soloing, only worse.
Example: First objective hack. I was there first, soon another one joined. One of the other two went down, my cohacker left to revive and stayed there. Finished hack solo. Second objective devices. Had to activate all four, because nobody else gave a rat's anus about them. Third objective hack. Activated it and waited for others, noone showed up and all three bleeded out/got synced on opposite side of the map. So I hugged Prime (or maybe Atlas). The joys of teamwork lol.
But to be fair, this kind of shenanigans doesn't happen that often.

I don't. I mean, yes it may turn you into a "pro", when everyone dies and you are the last hope.
You play and say "look how it's done you noobs" or "look how good I am" But really I don't care about that. If for some reason you die, the match is over.

Playing with clowns is not funny at all when you have to do all the job. I need at least one more decent player. I can handle 2 jerks but 3? no thanks.

Actually if I notice my teamates are complete as*holes and die in every wave past 3 mins, I will start trolling the match. Taking my sweet time to kill mobs, or killing the last one in ages. Missing shoots on purpose, aim for the foot... The list continues.

I admit I do love it when good teammates go down and I have to clench a wave. Clenching wave after wave with randoms lost it's luster a lonnnnnggggg time ago. I still do love seeing the crap randoms do, say, and their loadouts though.

I like carrying PUGs who play to the best of their ability, but still are not very good. I HATE carrying ****s who try to rambo everything and bleed out instantly and never help with objectives.

Thank you! This guy feels me.

Yes

With competent players this game is a joke.

I can live with myself. I would rather have some leeching decoys than nobody to play with at all in a PUG game.

This.  If I'm playing with friends, Gold is easy and fun due to the banter and light-hearted competition (and mock indignation over blatant kill-stealing).  A competent Gold PUG is rare, but that's not bad IMO; competent Gold PUGs are easy and boring as ****.

Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?
Probably just me. I do have a terribly dirty mind. Utterly incorrigible. Image IPB

I must say, I like when I have carried a PUG and one of them sends me a message afterwards thanking me for dragging them to full extract. I can't say I was very keen on it while I was doing it but part of me likes strutting my sexy in front of a live audience. (Im on Xbox. No tabbing.)
