Quentin Tarantino's treatment for "Mass Fiction" was rejected for not having a character Samuel L Jackson could play.

Got to give it to EA: A remake would never have the market appeal of the "original" ME3. Not enough people would buy it plus the marketing campaign wouldn't make sense at all.

I personally like the idea though. A new me3 without the cerberus arc and a better (or complete missing) priority: earth.

Depends...will this version cater to the long time fans and write the foul catalyst out of existence?

i probably would rent it sooner or later.

the only good thing about ME4 is that my expectations could not be lower.

People complain about the ending, because they don't get the whole point of it. They just complain because it's not good enough. With Shepard surviving at the end is what makes people angry, and I don't see Shepard surviving in any endings no matter how close I was to my Shepard. I like Mass Effect 3 the way it is, despite the horrible graphic glitches at times and freezes and frame rate problems. As for the combat, it's fine, but it needs more flexibility like for what they did for Resident Evil 6. But I can say that Mass Effect 3 is very linear to the point where you know where things are heading, unlike with Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. I would love to go and explore more places like in ME1 and ME2. Mass Effect 3 lacked in overall freedom, but in the long run it did great.

The one where the Reapers were the good guys all along, trying to save everyone from dark energy?

funny that...both lead designer and project lead pushed for a happier ending....Mac not

apparently people like that. I like that....and at the very least as I said, ME3 taught me a lesson or two

1 always go to spoilerville before finalizing a purchase
2 do not trust Bioware's pr

I wonder who had that terrible idea: Drew or Mac? If the answer is Drew, I would prefer 2007's Drew.

I personally desire a entire rewrite of the story in both theme, context, and plot.

Thats what we are counting on, i havent seen many catalyst and crucible support threads. most people who loved mass effect loved it because wrex, mordin tali, legion, liara and garrus and the gameplay.

The story could use a lot of work. and maybe give fans more time with their friends. if there was a way to integrate a remake nicely maybe people wont be so affronted by the idea.

starting me3 events from the point where me2 events ended without the crucible and the date of reapers arrival unknown. would provide a great setting for a new and fresh game.(and if you killed the rachni let them stay dead this time...)

just crossed over these reviews http://www.metacriti...-3/user-reviews i wish i saw them before i purchased mass effect 3 <_<

Everyone has bad ideas. But not everyone implements them. Mac Walters demonstrably did.

You know, apart from the terrible writing of the ending, I'm starting to notice a lot of other, shall we say, less than stellar writing element of ME3. The Cerberus arc is a little weak. Kai Leng's character is so dumb and under developed- I mean this dude couldn't carry Saren's gym bag. Leng's a complete Scrub. The intro to the game is geared so much for new players. Omega is poorly written. The ME2 squadmate stuff is kinda just there to be there. Sure, the standouts of Rannoch story arc, krogan arc, and Citadel DLC are really done well. But that's about it. The rest of the content is kinda like, Meh.

oh I forgot Leviathan. Leviathan was good. But again, half of the best stuff (Citadle and Leviathan) is DLC. This content should have been included in the main game. Maybe not Citadel. But Leviathan should have mos def been included in main game.
