Why do you idiots nuke on wave 11? (you know who you are) The exraction will not go any faster. You just make enemies spawn near other teamates. 2 Dragoons and 4 Phantoms in a spawn equals instant death to whoever turns the corner.
There were plenty of juicy spawns before - no rockets. There were clusterf**cks during hacks and escorts - no rockets. Extraction wave - multi-rockets into every spawn.
The only time rockets are allowed in my book is to clear the LZ when there's 10 seconds left. If you're doing it to boost up your score - well, you're a sad sad person and you look like an idiot who deserves to be booted out after the match.

Well that's the point. They don't nuke em during regular waves. Wave 5 - there's like 2 Banshees, 2 Brutes and 2 Ravagers clustered - no rockets.
Wave 11 - oh look 3 Marauders and 3 Husks - rocket. Rocket again. And AGAIN.

Agreed. But not on extraction wave. At least not at the beginning of it. Nuke it at LZ if you're getting overwhelmed.

i never do when i've had to solo 2 waves, because i'm saving my missiles for the last 2 banshees of the wave. i find that's much more likely to keep the time down than respawning the enemies behind randoms with no situational awareness.

I think your asking the wrong question. It`s not "why?", it`s "Why not you @#$%$#@ piece of $!@# Marauder?!"
And they USUALLY respawn elsewhere, which is a brief reprieve.....................

It's really ridicilous when you have to solo all waves from 7 to 10 and no one ever uses a missile and bleedout all over the place. And the during EX wave you get yourself a 4th of July. WTF?

Time to display the fireworks; no worries, enjoy being able to do whatever you like.
I never saw it as a points thing. One of my friends said "Ok guys it's wave 11 so If you got 'em spend 'em" He specifically mentioned it was because simply that you could.
...I saw it as a fun thing. Sort of like Christmas. Blowing all your money before the end of the year for a good time before it was over. (I`m normally on the top anyway. I`m not blowing my rockets to stay on top, that`s mental. being on top isn`t even important. '-' )
Now that I'm aware (some) people think poorly of this, I suppose I just wont have celebration/firework moments. No one really talks on mic much, so I didn't have any reason to think it was taboo. *shrug* (not that I do it all the time. But In the cases that I did ^)
