I found a better RPG with great characters, good story and lovely humor so I do not need to play ME3 anymore

May I be so bold as to ask which RPG this is?

The Witcher 2

I knew it.... Did you play the 1st one? If not, then you should!

no I am on console but I have studied it to gain further knowledge on TW2 before I played it

TW2 has one of the best one liners (to me) of any game to date, I keep smiling thinking about it

@GimmeDaGun

One and only offtopic: The Witcher 1 has all this Alvin/Jacob forced bull****e (which is even more bull****e if U've read the books and U realise that he was a renamed Ciri, even saying the same things). Still a great game though, the characters and subquests are totally worth playing.

it is implied he IS Ciri and time traveling....sort of.

I basically haven't played since July last year either but I did another playthrough across last week anyway, thinking that maybe my rage had cooled down a bit.

So it was as was last time. The beginning of the game was hilariously bad. Tuchanka was awesome, Rannoch was cool, then it went downhill to a painfully bad finale. I had really told myself that I'd be choosing one of the Spacekid's three options this time around, but as I stood there again I realised that I couldn't do it and refused. It's just completely asinine to do what the Reaper Overlord tells you to do. It makes no sense.

"Yes so you can either destroy that tube and potentially sabotage the device you worked so hard on building, you can grab that power conduit there and potentially short circuit the whole thing, or you can just go ahead and leap to your death. Yes, any of these will defeat me. No, I promise. I promise! Come on! You have every reason in the world to trust me, don't you?"

They really should've ended the game with: "This display of narrative genius was brought to you by the man who thinks Kai Leng would be a cool central character for a spinoff game."

I can't buy DLC at full price.
I also don't have time for games just yet, I have 15 games to play and finish before I even think about replaying the trilogy.
And even then I will wait till sale on the DLC.

He has nothing to do with Ciri except for being a copy-paste of her (including time-travelling although it makes no sense at all from the player point of view). It still doesn't matter that much as long as Ur not a die-hard Witcher saga fan.

Enough of TW offtopic, I'm going back to being devastated after ME3 ending.

whoops sorry that came out wrong, I meant he took that from ciri, but he is another known character coming back from the future at least so I was told by the hardcore people

I seriously considered going back and reliving the ME experiance (havent played any of the games since September) recently in light of the recent Citadel DLC. But then I quickly remembered that horribly contrived abomination known as ME 3 ending. Then I started thinking "why the hell should I care about ME, its characters, planetary background, moral choices, lore and themes when Bioware clearly doesn't?" Then I decided to go on to other games. Granted I might do a nostalgic run of both ME 1 and 2 in the near future but my overall interest in the trilogy and all posible future games is permeantly done at this point.

Anybody else feel the exact sameway??

I'm starting again, but usually I get to ME3 then I stop due to boredom or disappointment. and I hate myself for that because I do want to play Mass Effect but stop playing soon as I complete a quater of ME3.

Yes, that is correct, but as far as I remember the books (my last readthrough was about 2-3 years ago) Ciri was travelling to parallel universes rather than pure time-travelling.

And my BTTF die-hard fan instinct told me the way it was handled with Alvin in TW1 makes no sense.

Soon as I finish my new ME & ME2 playthroughs with Jericho Shepard the adapt spectre for Manchester. I'll be jumping right back into ME3 and choosing the paragon ending.

Personally even with its flaws, I thought ME3 was frikkin amazing. I still wish death to everyone at EA and BioWare, in the most painful way possible. But this is still the best trilogy ever made that got better with each game.

The first game sucks to play though these days. Can't wait to zip through this pile of copy and paste stink....... HA!

I can but my enjoyment is dulled knowing what's coming up. Just finished my first ME1 playthrough since ME3 came out and intend to carry it through to 3.

The MEHEM needs to be released on all platforms with official polish. Then I might be tempted to try some of the ME3 DLC.

"Might" isn't much of an incentive a year-plus after release, is it?

Well OK then. They make official MEHEM on all platforms, I will buy the ME3 DLC. How's that?

I don't know if I cannot return to ME3, I probably could. But there is currently nothing that draws me back to ME3. It just doesn't interest me. So I see no reason to try.
I'd rather spend the few hours per week I have at my disposal for gaming playing ME1 or 2 then.
