So I started the Citadel DLC after the Udina Coup. I romanced Ash in ME1 and Miranda in ME2. I'm aiming for Ashley in ME3 and so far i've been pretty good to her. Yet surprise surprise, guess who showed up to ask if i'm having a bad day?
Yup everybody's favorite stalker, Liara T'soni.
Why is still up in my grill? How do I fix this? Should I reload my save and keep playing until I lock in my romance with Ashley at the cafe, or is this an issue with the game itself?
Why is Liara being forced on me again? (Citadel DLC)

All of which are based on love interest choice, an explicit and deliberate action by the player? There's no divining or guesswork at all. The developers don't have that luxury for most other interactions.

Because unlike the other squadmates who pair off on their own (tali/garrus, Zaeed flirting with Samara, Edi/Joker, James+jack/ashley, etc) Liara isn't approached by anyone else and its quite obvious that she only has eyes for you.

Haven't you been reading the forums?
Joker is a writer's pet, valuable resources that might have gone into rendering Tali'sface were instead wasted on a pretty entertaing scene
