If my teammates are on par w/ me (skill-wise), I'll just missile it. If I'm in a bad pug & I've gotta 'an hero', I'd rather take my chances & kill it w/ whatever gun/power I have. My thinking is that I'm pretty sure that missile I save will probably be useful later on in the match. 8/10 times I'm right. The other 2/10 I get sync'd.:?

I don't usually run builds that can't deal with Banshees. That seems kinda dumb. I did this by accident once, but that was mainly because they were around a guy who hadn't bled out yet, and I wanted to save him.

I always missile even if it is one Banshee. I would rather waste a missile than mess up the game for my team-mates should I get sync-killed by a teleport-instant grab.

LOL. if I'm playing a Fury or Huntress I just slap Dark Channel (not from cloak on Huntress) on them and don't even shoot just to ****** off teamates who bled out like they usually do.

I'm saving missles for the extraction wave.

This can be 2 Banshees now or 2 Banshees AND Brutes and Ravagers on the extraction wave. Not even speaking about Platinum here!

But killing them basically does nothing on extraction. All it does is moves them, and that isn't necessarily a good thing. Hell, it's usually actively bad; they'll spawn between you and the LZ or around teammates. Kiting them and slowing them down is usually a better option than wave 11 spaw nuking, at least if your goal is extraction rather than score.

Missile them, I always do so if I'm the only one alive.
Their constant screams really annoy the crap out of me...I'd missile them just to have a little quiet time.

depends on how long I've been clutching the wave I guess. if there's a likelihood I'll be clutching the next wave, no. If my teammates died by a fluke, then I might missile the bosses after killing the mooks to speed things up.

banshees die pretty quickly, though, so I probably wouldn't missile them. I'm thinking more like atlases or primes.

For me it's not even about the risk of getting synced, although I guess that could be a concern. It's just the amount of time involved just isn't worth saving a missile.

eh, we have 6+ of them now- ya dun have to be stingy (usually), and dragging out a clutch is in noone's best interest, so fire away

It's a good idea to missile them yep. If you die, your whole team dies. If you use that one missile then the whole team can get back up and your chances of survival have just gone up substantially because 4 guns are better than 1. Plus noob pug allies can often make good decoys Image IPB

i have close to 255 missiles, and less than 50 gels. I can definitely spare a missile or two, especially if its a later wave.

Will I need the missiles to make other waves go by easier? Is my team good or bad? What wave is it? Will I need that missile to pad my score on wave eleven?

Two banshees are really not that terrible unless it's a tight map or laggy match.

Well, depends also on my confidence levels in any game, among other things. It also depends on how many ops packs or medigels I can afford to burn at that stage.

Usually with Banshees though I run out of patience more than anything else. I think they are poorly designed in terms of how they grab while teleporting, especially when on a laggy off host connection.
