did a bit of checking on the spells I_Raps listed: Greater Restoration seems to be the only one that will remove the domination effect, but ofc won't unhide the ghost (effectively dispensing with it) ...
same for Mind Blank + Lesser.
An alternative to applying the domination effect directly is to give the ghost the spell Domination (or whatever) and let defaults rule ... but that still won't unhide the ghost so i see little gained there (or worse, do a bCheat cast.. )

Well, seeing as this is a ghost I would say things like dispel would be out...it's not magic...it's supernatural. I think anything from the divine line of spells that deals with supernatural beings. I would also say Mind Blank would be out as the ghost isn't controlling your mind...it's taken control of your body.
Song of Freedom, Dismissal, Banishment, Greater Restoration, Word of Faith and even Turn Undead would be acceptable...and of course killing the possessed player would also be acceptable.
I also think holy water should be acceptable, but I'm not sure if your party member would be targetable.
All of these methods should free the party member and reveal the ghost creature for killing.

When I saw this thread, my instinct was a Creature Skin that is forced onto the player as the Ghost possessing it (gives it certain properties and immunities, I think you can even have effects if certain spells are used, though I'm not 100% on that...) and you can just Limbo the Ghost while it "possesses" the PC (with item scripts that determine when it's expelled, and the resummon on the unequip)...effect dominate may be a good way to cheap and easy the faction change...

KevL sent me some scripts but I haven't had a chance to test things. From his notes however, this looks to be something pretty dangerous, which is exactly what I was looking for.
