That's not to say Olympians are never sexed up...
Why are the female characters so sexed up?

This has been making me wonder a lot aswell.
I've worn high heels, those things will break your damn ankles eventually.
Also screws with your balance.
I know it's videogame logic but... COME OON!! GIVE THE GIRLS SOME DAMN COMBAT BOOTS ALREADY!! THINK OF THEIR FEET!!
pretty sure space magic fixes that.
Honestly, though I could take it if, maybe, just the nemesis had a few inches on a heel, because a sniper isn't going to have to move much... BUT NINJAS IN HEELS?!
Space magic cares not for your logic.

I never understood why women wear high heels AT ALL, but hey, I am only a man and as such beneath those lofty concepts.
They make a woman appear taller, arch the foot, emphasise calves and backside, and tend to force the hips to sway when she walks.
Assuming she doesn't fall over, that is.

Arching the foot is something I find attractive but it also makes the tendons and veins in the foot pop out if the front is exposed... so it's actually a +, - 0 situation from my perspective.
Why can't women just wear boots... and spare their damn feet. Beauty is not something to pay for with their health. An arc is not a natural form for feet so it's prone to create problems with long term use.

I am female and I DESPISE high heels.
However, my husband is actually about 2-3 inches shorter than me and is self-conscious about that (frankly, I couldn't care less about his height), so he is fully supportive of my anti-high heel status. I got married in flats and was mighty happy with that arrangement.
Then again, I am also a fairly hardcore tomboy, so lots of things that are considered traditionally "feminine" and "girly" make me roll my eyes, so I might not be the best litmus test.

I had second thoughts, I vote for Elcor. High heel gauntlets for the forelegs.

Ever heard of "stay on your toes"? It's actually better for the heel to be higher, reaction times can be improved, as well as other things.
The misconception is where people think of the pencil-thin heels they see every day on TV or fashion shows. Yes, those -will- break your ankles.
