All in all, I'm rather confidant that this movie will forever remain in development hell.

Where it belongs.

This is exactly why my Shepard is reforming Cerberus after the war. To keep **** like this away from the living.

And now joining Cerberus suddenly sounds appealing

Well, that's how my Shepard and Miranda build credibility for it B).

Though Cerberus was always more appealing to me than the council or alliance.

I like this human

Weird in what sort of way?

The Tali sweat ones, the Tali doll ones...

Tali fans were supposedly so rabid that BW put Tali in the game as a squadmate in fear of pissing them off.

I can't really say much though as far as crazy fans go. We Miranda fans got the romance threads shut down (though I think that was a crappy decision to keep them closed).

In our defense though, the actual infighting had nothing to do with Miranda.

Oh so YOU were the ones who got that forum locked? I joined to find it locked after playing ME3, and was just like;

"Ahahaha it finally happened, oh BSN!" So howd it go down? Do tell.

Liara should be the one, if they go for the most popular.
Ashley if they go for the "classic" one.
Miranda for the fanservice :X

Eh, I always thought Tali as a naive teenager in over her head and having a pathetic crush on Shepard. And on Garrus for that matter. He can do so much better.

Yeah, she has that aura. I don't see how people get so venemous about romances. I just picked the character I liked the most out of the options I had. That and quarians have been my favorite race since i pciked up ME.

Lol Jacob Kaiden and Cortez are the only ones with NO votes, even over the "no one at all" options! Why am I NOT surprised?

The Mass Effect Movie is still a thing? Does anyone really care anymore?

I remember I made a thread picking out actors on who should play who, I said Ellen Page would make a good Ashley, and you (and most of BSN) laughed.

(((p.s. i still think she would fit well in that role :bandit:)

It started when a group of people (I'm not going to name names here,) who started the thread had idea's for the character that were unpopular, along with their general outlook. Theses posters were (and still are) also generally very condescending, basically enforcing their idea of what the character was and should be, as well as other aspects of the game. They made a lot of bold assumptions as to what the Miranda fanbase liked (it was really just them) and supposedly (this particular incident was a bit before I joined) left out a lot of material and artwork for a poster and artbook made by fans for BW to show their appreciation for Miranda, Yvonne Strahovski, and as a sort of showing that we were very passionate fans that wanted to see more Miranda in DLC. The material they (supposedly, again idk if this is true or not) left out was a large deal of what many fans had wanted so that they could slant the viewpoint of the fanbook to their own views. Several of the other fans made their own artbook and posters detailing what they wanted.

Now the reason you didn't find too many Miranda fans here really was because of these posters. They'd lurk a lot, and you'd get messages from some of them telling you how full of **** they thought these posters were. So in rides a new guy (with a Chicken avatar. I'm sure many of you know who I'm talking about). He pretty much gets really pissed at these people's interpretation of the character and their opinions of the game and life in general and it really escalates.

All this time, we also had to deal with near daily emotional meltdowns from one of the most.... obsessed fans of any fandom I've ever seen. This guy was basically an attention hog who wanted everyone to praise him and comment on his fan art, and when people criticized him (or asked him to stop posting, since he had a habit of constantly repeating his posts every day and using an absurd amount of emoticons).

Eventually all of it trickles into this big fight over interpretation of the game and character, and a separate Miranda thread is created. This thread hit almost 40 page in the first day, with many of the formerly disenchanted Miranda fans returning to the forums to be away from the other Miranda posters.

I'd bet on either Ashley or Liara.

Shepard is going to be male, and those two are with Shepard from the beginning. Unlike Tali they are also won't be spending the entire move with their face covered.

I like Cerberus. Deal with it.

If you don't like it, you're welcome to shoot TIM in your game.

You're saying you 'like' torture, scientific misconduct, racial supremacism and corruption. This makes very little sense.

My ideal movie scenario

Male Shep / Paragon / Liaramancer / Lets the Racchni Queen live / Convinces Rex / Saves Ashley / Saves the Council / Doesn't cheat / Some squadmates die during the suicide mission / Destroys the collector base / Cures the Genophage / Reconciles the Geth and Quarian / Chose destroy.

Main team: Shep, Tali, Liara, Garus, Rex and Ashley (all other squadmates die at some point heroically or not)

There's no racial supremacism from TIM or the overall goal of Cerberus. Maybe from some people, but you get the same thing everywhere else you look. And I've seen a hell of a lot more from the alliance than I ever did from Cerberus. Corruption is rampant everywhere you look too.

As for misconduct and torture, if it achieves a greater end, I'll do it. I'm not afraid to break boundaries or cause suffering to the few for the benefit of the greater.

Let's agree to disagree and not taint the thread please.
