I played COD4 and World at War, and I had fun with those games.

I remember picking up the hardened edition of MW2...good times...good times. I still like playing that Call of Duty every now and then.

I picked up Black Ops mainly for Zombies, but I do enjoy the game as a whole.

I borrowed MW3 from a friend of mine, and I didn't like it.

I'm curious about Black Ops II, so I'm open to trying it out.

I'm not an avid fan of COD (anymore), as the original, MW2, and Black Ops are the only ones I own.

Black Ops 2 is great. You have choices there that actually matter. Plus the game has insane qlimax.
I've watched some Ghosts walkthrough on youtube and game looks really good, but not as awesome as CoD 4.

Call of Duty ghosts is epic. Multiplayer is most enjoyable.

From what I hear, it's great as a standalone game but lacks "innovation" (Now they begin to notice) in comparison to the rest of the series.

As someone who hasn't played MW3 or BO2, it's tempting.

Modern Warfare 1, 2, and 3 are games I like (mainly for the story). Black Ops too, but I don't have 2. MW3's graphics were noticeably better then the preceding games.

But I hate the multiplayer, for a multitude of reasons. First, quick scoping. I love using sniper rifles, but I hate when people try to quick scope.

I mean, it's fine for private matches with friends. I did that once with a friend from high school for MW2, along with knife kills and whatnot. And it was fun -- and hilarious when we were also trying to make it suicide kills.

The other reason I hate multiplayer is because of the god awful amount of prepubescent little kids talking **** like they're so tough, regardless of whether they're good or not (most suck).

That said, Call of Duty doesn't really have much when you look at Battlefield.

The way COD capitalizes on leming behaviour is just sad.
I saw all the problems with the game from bugs to pasting retextured parts of the game, even cut scenes, from previous installments.
Weak storytelling is an understatement.
AND THE PRICE they "force" you to pay. For that ****? Not in million years. Military shooters are reaching its worst at the moment in my opinion.
Next gen? Nice joke, nice joke... next in the series - maybe. Coz it looks like one game cut into episodes. Lol.

I can't in good conscience consider buying this game. The FOV is locked to 65, which is absurdly low, especially for someone like me who gets nauseous from a FOV of 75 in first person games. There was a third party fix for this, but the developer sent a cease and desist order because apparently they want their players to get sick.

Then there's the whole 6GB RAM nonesense. The game only ever uses up to 2GB of RAM.

I read on the interwebs Kotik bosts Ghosts earned 1bil dollars... ARE ALL GAMING sites and gamers that stupid to echo this sentiment? Or just US of A? Seriously, what is condition of EDUCATION these days? To write those moronisms? I thought "journalists" should know better, but NO, they already crowned CODG
Those are numbers sold to RETAILERS not final payments by the consumer. For the love of gods, human race should learn how to think/use brain from scratch it seems.

Its not next generation, its degeneration next...

If this is what Infinity Ward calls a next-gen game than i really feel sorry for them. It runs and plays like crap, Black Ops 2 has better performance and runs more smothly, it doesn't even surpass BF3 let alone BF4. Same gameplay, gunfight and i don't even care for story since it was never good in the first place.

Why this game requires 50 Gb to install is beyond me, they certaintly did not used that stuff to make a decent PC port.
Hell i usually don't care for graphics, but the game looks on the same level as Bad Company 2. BF4 is probably dbest looking PC game ever made when it comes to visuals, Ghosts looks like the game from 2008.

But my main question is why would anyone bother buying Ghosts when BF4 smashes it in every possible way.

Indeed, however I did read one article earlier today( don't remember which, sadly) that CoD Ghost will still earn 1 billion USD revenue, according to many analysts.

However, they still claim that profits will be 20% lower that from Black Ops and 10% lover from Modern Warfare 2.
So Activision will still earn a ton of money but loss is still gonna be very noticeable. Especially to their shareholders. If those said analysts are correct.
