lol it's true. Usually the N7 103s, challenge points 30, level 1 weapons and gear tend to forshadow things to come.

As for playing with friends, why do you think I posted in the first place? Perhaps I should've been more direct:

PUG on weekends if it bothers you. I seem to find better players on Saturday and Sunday.

Sometimes you get bad players, and sometimes you get so good and fun players that you invite them on your friendlist ^^ 

I have jumped into gold game where all players were ~N130, game was awesome. 
Maby that depends what you realy want from game, if you want to play thematic runs, or run some combos, then yes you need some friend to play with, I usualy play with snipers, so it doesnt realy mather if there are any other players or not, so might as well PUG it.

Don't give up on PUG's. I know the urge, but, there's something, er, exciting about heading into the unknown. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

definately!

It would be nice to filter out the bad ones or set some requirements, but I like carrying Pugs. Maybe not in some Platinum games.

Nah, I am actually really bad at the game. I just add lots of people with big backpacks and suck up to them so I can get carried.

LOL. Nice SlimJim but I know the feeling. I went into a PUG match once on Firebase White vs Collectors...Gold. I had to solo almost every wave....I think I solo'd waves 3 - 10 actually. They just could not deal with the Collector's they kept on getting downed and kept running out of consumables so they had to constantly spectate my gameplay. I hope that when they spectated that at least they learned something about how I was handling the map, funneling the enemies, taking cover and taking out the enemies yadi yadi ya. Still.... yeah man.... I get you. lol.

At least they used consumables.

I'm lucky to find one player who Gels himself.

I am actually really bad at the game, so I wouldn't know anything about that. When I bleed out (nearly every wave) I just switch back and forth between TV and ME3 to make sure I don't get kicked.

Kick is majority based. If there are two garbage players in the lobby, you're out of luck and have to leave it.
