My favorite Dog name of my characters was for Lady Cousland. Her mabari was named Cheeky. It fit so well.

Soris. Because it reminded my City Elf of her lovable, prone-to-disaster cousin of hers.

Let me see... Dog, Dogmeat, Fluffy, Killer and Carl are the ones that I remember (I'd have to go through some save games to find the rest).

All different things, I've got 9 dogs so far (and 2 more will arrive soon).
The dogs who belong to humans have Celtic names, the dogs belong to elves have elvish-sounding names, and the same is true for dwarves. Except one poor dog who is called Dog - I didn't get the box to name him, lol.

I was thinking of naming him Maker. But I figured no one in the Chantry would get the insult. Such a pity, really.

Mine was Wary, good on him for spotting the Darkspawn.
A friend of mine had a more original name: Mangy (Alistair and Morrigan have a conversation about him being/not being mangy, so...)

Three games:
Lyle, dwarf noble warrior: Silus
Julane, Dalish elf rogue: Rage
Bonli, Human mage: Wix
But...I've not taken Dog along in any of my games. He's guarded the camp.

My first and favorite was named Pumpkin. What else would you name a massive vicious killer puppy?

On the first playthrough, it's Rusty.
Next one will probably be Beastie.

Fenris(my patron god), Carcharoth, Anfauglir, Huan(all three because I love the Silmarillion book by J.R.R. Tolkien). Also named him Poochy once. Fenris, Carcharoth, and Anfauglir fit pretty well, since I use the mod that gives him the Blight Wolf skin.
