Pretty harsh.

Gameskult has an stiff competition with Edge to become the reference for snob people in videogames. I understand french and I've read it and yes, the reviewer has a point, but also doesn't give a damn about the different styles of gameplay between classes, the continuity through ME1 choices or the importance of the trust system on the ending. But is OK to have a different opinion between the glowing reviews.

that said 10/10 scores should be entirely possible. No game is perfect, true, but if you limited yourself to 9/10, the 10 would become redundant. For all intents and purposes a 10 would just indicate the game is crazy good if not perfect.
Something has to be in the 10/10 category.

though if it was a proper out-of-100%, yea then it'd be pushing it.

7/10 from Gamekult is probably not very fair even if the reviewer has some valid points, I think it's more the result of dissappointment tat ME2 was too much (in his opinion) of a change from ME1.



I will probably miss some features from ME1, but if the game is as good as it looks, I'm sure the negative will be overpowered by the positive.

Just read it !, strange they only gave it a 9 as the reviewer didn't seem to have anything negative to report - I guess Edge reviewers are so snobby they can't even give 10's to games that really do deserve them .

I think this guy is honestly one of few people who will be complaining that ME2 doesn't resemble ME1 enough. Wasn't it the point of all the changes and improvements made for ME2 to distance it from the first game's weak points? (Mako, elevator rides etc..)

Wow, metacritic stands at 97 now (27 reviews), and gamerankings is at 96.7 (20 reviews). This is phenomenal! Can't wait to get my copy.
