I havent got this game yet so can someone please tell me some begginer tips. also can someone tell me what the best armour in the game is and how and where to get them. can you also tell me what where and how to get the best weapons and equipment in the game. or you can at least just give me a list of the best weapons and armour and equipment in the game. ??????????

-Best armor in the game depends on what you are playing. Armor calculates into fatigue which is used when casting spells/using abilities so balance is necessary.

-Weapons really depend on your play style, you'll learn more as you play.

Er the way I understand the game - and games in general - is that you play them to find out stuff like this. It's part of the fun!

The best tip I can give you is DO NOT TRY TO KILL THE ARCH DEMON.



If you want to try it, you should have the best armour available. The starting robe that the mages get has a lot of hidden stats and you should put it on all of your party members.



Another secret is that your fists are actually more powerful than any sword in the game because bioware made a mistake in their code.

my advice is get the game guide for the items. the best armor is the dragon armor you get with pre order . dont think you can get it now .advice is use the pause feature when you fight. the guid will tell you were most of the stuff is . with out dragon armor id say the juggernaught armor is good but you have to find it in the dailish area in different places . download the add on wardens keep for the best sword star fang. get shale too he is real good. for more info id have to know what class you play a mage is totaly different. you need a lot of money to get the best gear for that type.

Talking about armour, let's not forget the Legion of the Dead armour. Not bad stats in my opinion.

The game isn't that gear dependent really, besides isn't finding all of this stuff on your own kind of fun? As long as you do the quests, don't sell all the nice equipment you find, take a look at shops once in a while to possibly get a nice upgrade, you'll be fine. I'd say it's more about making sure you build your party and character right or at least have some sort of strategy. I recommend getting some sort of crowd control in the caster trees (sleep, frost spells, cone of cold, waking nightmare) and also making sure your tank stays alive, obviously. Pretty basic stuff... Also don't spec your characters all over the place. Try to keep them specialized, this should be obvious but can have it's dangers with mages as I find it more advantageous to keep going down a set path than to take a bit of everything.

What I mean to say is don't take shape shifting on Morrigan.  Well, you could, this is your game after all and you might make it work but...man...I wish I didn't.

Why does someone who hasn't bought the game yet need to know what the best equipment is and how to get it?
