Anyone know how to enable the dev console mode for Mac?
The only real reason I want to do it is that somehow I missed the opportunity to name my doggie and just don't want to go another 80 hours with a nameless mutt!!

Did you find how to enable the console?
I installed a mod using MODAZIPIN and it isn't working. The mod's author suggests I type in one small line of script using the console. Should be easy, right?

It's possible, Add
to the bottom of "~/Library/Preferences/Dragon Age Origins Preferences/config"
The forum probably messes up the lines, it should be two backslash at each location
You also need to download fonts.erf and put it in your override folder.
[AppDefaults\\daorigins.exe\\transgaming] "cmdlineadd" = "-enabledeveloperconsole"

Sigh, the forum found new creative ways of messing up the post. Think I fixed it though.

Jhime, Your instructions worked perfectly!! Thank you very much!
I assume now that I've successfully installed the mod I was having a problem with I can uninstall the "Make Console Commands Visible" mod and restore the "~/Library/Preferences/Dragon Age Origins Preferences/config" file back to its original state. Correct?
Or, if I leave it there and never use it again will it behave itself and not cause me problems? Yes/No
BTW; Robes of the High Dragon. http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1278 Not a lot of armor protection but I think they look sharp.

I don't have the mac version, but I don't see why it would cause a problem. Fonts.erf is just a copy of the console font archive that wasn't getting properly installed - it doesn't change anything in the game that you'd need to worry about.
