I wouldn't really call Ashley racist. But even so, a character flaw doesn't make someone a terrible character. Being poorly written and poorly acted does.

That's your opinion I call Ashley a racist, heck in my opinion they should have had her be a member of Cerberus they have a lot in common.

I think mostly because of the bear and dog argument she made in ME1 and the mistrust of Garrus and Wrex even in ME2 she says shes no fan of aliens.

I don't like her because I felt they shorted us. Emily Wong has earned a place on board the Normandy. Perhaps even as a possible LI. Instead when get this new cow shaped hoochie. Hell I would have taken khalisah bint sinan al-jilani.

What would licking a PSP have to do with getting a job as Dianna Allers? I'd seen her on my Xbox dashboard every week for about 2 years reporting on all the new gaming news for IGN, and apparently she's a big fangirl of ME, that's probably what got her a job as a reporter in ME.

So care to elaborate? Pictures of her licking a PSP isn't an elaboration of why she got a job as Dianna Allers.

I didn't like her because she was a shallow character with terrible voice acting. That, and it made little sense that Bioware spent resources modeling a very minor character (complete with face mapping), while Tali's reveal was a barely edited stock photo.

She represents the improper relationship between game "journalists" and game developers/publishers. A conflict of interest.

That and we already had an excellent journalist from Mass Effect 1 (Emily Wong) that would of been a wonderful addition to the Normandy.

Let me try then, Bioware could have easily done Emily Wong to do what Diana Allers does but instead they kill her off on Twitter and hire Jessica Chobot from IGN to be Diana Allers
