True, but what is intimacy in the gaming world? Is a scene like this  more or less showing the same sort of intimacy as a secne like this?

Sex can do that, but so do more subtle actions. The cuddling after the fade to black is a prime example of this. Other little things, like hand holding, little gestures through looks and expressions, change of apperance, and so on. 

So I ask again, what is more important? Do we need to see the sex to make it important, or is there power in the gestures and framing of the scene that implies more intimacy?  Is it really a question of denying anything like sex, when the implications are more mature in the long run?

It depends on the situation.  Sex with intimacy is great, but there are times, even if you're in a long-term relationship, that it's ALL about the sex.  And there are times, even in a short-term relationship, where it's about comfort and/or bonding.  

And if you've not experienced either of those, then you haven't been in a relationship with enough trust to both let yourself be completely vulnerable emotionally, or completely lose yourself physically.

Sex for the sake of sex with someone who you don't know well is really not too much more satisfying than masturbation, though it gives more interesting conversations I suppose if you feel the need to brag about it.  It can be fun, but you are missing the communication part of it.

It's not an either/or thing you know -- you certainly can have sex AND cuddle before and afterwards.

Really, I'm actually quite surprised that people who are younger are having less sex and find the thought of nightly sex disturbing.  It's a great way to get to sleep -- oxytocin and all that.  And it's a great way to give -- who doesn't like making the person they love feel like they're desireable?

It's not an either/or thing you know -- you certainly can have sex AND cuddle before and afterwards. My husband and I been married 21 years -- we're at an age where a lot of people probably would be offended by the idea that we still have sex quite often, and enjoy it, but we do, our marriage is great, and we are close.  When our children were small, my husband and I slowed down, but after we were getting sleep again and they were going to sleep more consistantly, we resumed a good sex life.

Actually, I kind of regretting writing that after I did, but yes, we're happy.  When we got married, we got married for keeps.  It's nice having that person who you know has your back.  He's a terrific guy, and we're great friends, we have terrific kids, so on so forth.

Long term relationships can work, and remain intimate.  If a couple wants less frequent sex, that's fine as well of course -- it's a personal thing.  

But I'm not sure why how often someone has sex is germaine to anything.  Someone can have sex 3x a day and still be a crappy lover, or every once in a while and be fantastic.

As far as cuddling clothed before sex, if it's not a relationship, if it's the first time even in a relationship, yes, I see that as very realistic.  But if they've been together for a bit, it is not.  Naked in bed means sex is assumed (though obviously not required), yet the first time it should never be assumed that it will happen.

im EU but i found the Fox news ME1 Clip on Youtube and the people attacking the game and putting the blame on a video game once again.  without doing any  research just throwing and just  retarded accusations around its just disapointing that  bioware Tuned it down after that They should just had rebelled and Showed u can be independed. ****** for Dragon age 3 2013!
