Gratuitous nudity and violence do not seem very mature to me. In fact they sound childish, even a bit camp, if I'm honest.
That being said, I do agree that Dragon Age needs some darker and more mature themes to its story, if only, at least, to distinguish it from the troperiffic playground feel of the Mass Effect games. Moral decisions shouldn't be good vs evil, but what you consider to be the lesser of two evils. Organizations shouldn't be helping people because they could, but hurting them because they must, and it's for you to decide if it's worth the price. Let's get to the underbelly of the worst that humanity has to offer.
When the original Dragon Age: Origins first appeared in the gaming world, Bioware promised a deep and complex dark fantasy world, and certainly the early promises of enslaved elves, dwarven political intrigue and widespread (and justified) fear and suspicion of mages held promise. I would describe the end result as more "darkish" fantasy rather than full dark, but at least I appreciated Bioware for trying.
Now, let's try harder.
