Do i have to buy Dragon Age Origins to get this armour for Mass Effect 2? Dragon Age does not seem like my type of game. Can anyone tell me what it is like? Is it worth it and is it by any chance similiar to Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, if it is i will buy it because Oblivion was one of the best open world rpg's.

Will the Dragon Armour by any chance be available to Xbox Live?
If you do not have anything nice to say or nothing that helps please dont post it will be a waste of time for me and for you.

Damn not what i wanted. Will the code still be in new copies? I really hope Bioware make it dlc it looks really cool, but to spend 40 quid on a game i am not sure i will enjoy :s

The code should be in new copies of the game.

I suggest giving DA a try anyway. Is anybody ever really sure if they'll enjoy a game before they start playing it? You can look at all the reviews and trailers you like, but in the end you need to play the game to know if it's your thing. I'm enjoying DA a lot, and it's not my usual kind of game these days either. Get it for the dialogue, if for no other reason. A lot of the event dialogue and random party banter will have you laughing your head off.

There doesn't seem to be any platform restriction mentioned on either the website or in the small print under the code, so my guess is "yes."

Oblivion is similar to Dragon Age in that you have mainline quests and a "ton" of side quests.  In Oblivion you work with a single PC and that's it.  DAO you also start with a PC but you'll end up with 3 NPCs to help you out.  They both have toolsets that allow for expanisons.

A book could be written listing the simliarities and the differences, but personally, if you enjoyed Oblivion (sounds like you did); you will also enjoy DAO!

Hmm Renegade guess i will be waiting after the release of Mass Effect 2 to see if it is released, and CressE you have piqued my interest. I dont mind having the squad-members. And yes i loved Oblivion my very first game in the Xbox and i played the hell out of it. Sheogorath from the Shivering Isle's is a unique charater i have never seen in any game and he is my most favorite character!

Is there any date's that they stop putting free Blood armour in copies of new Dragon Age games?

Dragon Age is closer to Mass Effect than Oblivion, it's not an Open World game at all.

£40 seems excessive, are the console versions still priced that high?

Unfortunatly it is, i am still on the fence about this game. Is the fighting style similiar to Kotor?

If you love Kotor and ME, you'll love DA, too.

Not really. Fighting is more like a small card RTS game (Warcraft, C&C etc.), click to command a character to attack and then activate their special abilities (a dozen or so) at an appropriate time.

The fighting is well balanced but nothing special, Dragon Age is a bit of software you buy for the character interactions, not because it's a particularly exciting game.

Get the 2 DA Books & read them. If ya like the books, you'll likely like the game. Also consider DLing the Standalone Character Creator to aid your decision as well. (Found on the Home Page of this Site.)

Hope I helped.
