That is the most epic of all saves, Dragon!

I was dropped into a wave 5 Giant match against Reapers and was taken down before I actually got into the game. I sat there tapping x and waiting for one of the people already in to revive me but a cannibal got there first. The guy tried to stun the cannibal off of me but nothing worked and as the cannibal finally executed me, he let out the most exaggerated "nooooooo!" I've ever heard. It made me laugh and made me stick around to help out in spite of my low damage output.

Played a Platinum game with some Pugs, Giant/Reaper I'm sure, and it was the typical N7 50 - 300. Low gear, not much consummables, and I figured, wth, I'll just power up for a carry. I played the huntress, maxed on power Hurricane VIII for giggles, and hit the ready button. They did the normal hang-out by the LZ and I ran around as usual, but didn't go too far so that I could revive them. They all tried and did their best, with me not having to clutch any waves till 7. After wave six, one of the guys gets on his mic and he's so excited that we're winning. Wave 8 passes fine, and then the "wave 9" appears, and this guy crashes, "This is where everyone dies!" he says and goes into total panic mode. I'm laughing to myself. He was right in that they all went down that wave, but I pulled through, and we finished wave 10 then made the extraction. The guy was just beside himself all of Wave 11. It was so hilarious to listen to his rollercoaster of emotions. Probably his first Platinum extraction as well.

Was a pretty epic scene to see play out!

RECORD MOAR!

EDIT: That was an awesome story, BTW. I love good PuGs. They really more than make up for the bad ones.

I really do need to record more. I've gotten lazy with it, but I have missed some pretty cool stuff like little scenes such as that. I might go back to recording every match again so I can post the cool scenes. I was happy in my BOTB run video that I caught that brave little Volus PUG who braved the Brute that was STANDING ON TOP OF ME to revive me after the X button stuck me to cover that I didn't want to be on. That was epic and brave on his part!

Good PUGs and moments like that, where you feel like a real team, are awesome. Juggs and I both went on to extraction after that, which was fabulous.

Relevant bump!

So, I said I'd record more and I have. Had a great afternoon of games last weekend with some fellow BSNers, so gonna post up the video links here.

Still working on slooooooooooow uploads, but here's one of 'em. I also survive an attempted trolling in the E-Z-Bake Oven. Image IPB

DragonRacer & Friends, Volume 1

Goal would be to eventually get videos of games with all my buddies at some point... gonna take a while, LOL!

Cool story DR. It reminds me of how much fun you can have playing Juggs.

I had a couple of similar expiriences in pugs, especially the ones with low rankers that do their best to hel out.

A little bird Dragon told me that I might want to check that video out. Of course, I assume before watching it that it has been edited around my scrubbiness in order to make me look like a gaming god. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

One question: Why-for you guys keep trying to cook the noob?

(Hee hee. I don't remember noticing during the game how often the Reactor happened to "go off" while I was standing in it... missed me most times, for I am nimble, and lucky.)

On topic: This made me feel pretty good. That was a slick little move where I assassinate the target and pretty seamlessly rescue a teammate on a different elevation. Not that I spent the video watching myself whenever I was on-screen.

Had two games last night with more than one Krogan in it. Always enjoy multi krogan matches. My krogan gets lonely if i am the only one in a match.

I had to keep telling myself that while I watched the second video. Every time I died, I whispered to myself, "You're a superstar." It... almost worked.

LOL, I was trying to cook anybody that I could. I don't think I've successfully pulled one off yet. Image IPB

I was still exceedingly proud that I had the presence of mind to Ops Pack when someone trapped me and Cyclops in there, though. Image IPB

That moment you linked, though, that was pure teamwork Gold between you finishing off the target and reviving, while I finished off the boss enemies that were dancing on Finn's head so that you could swoop in to revive in safety. Good times, good times. Image IPB

Putting down Justicar bubbles over the person deactivating one of the four devices always makes me smile, because having it done for me has always made me feel good.

I literally used to get the warm fuzzies when a Justicar would do that for me. A Volus Shield Boosting me used to do it, too.

I smiled when my salarian got down to activate a device and yelled "cover me", only to see the Paladin that was playing with me immediately put his shield up and cover me.

Felt so warm and fuzzy. Image IPB

Of course, said Paladin later suffered a horrible fate on his way to the extraction and I didn't revive him in time, thus I will burn in hell. Image IPB

Bizarre spawns sometimes give me a chuckle. And I am always in a good mood when I can actually play my Smashdept and not get disconnected from the EA servers.

DragonRacer & Friends, Volume 2

Highlights are two Banshees table-dancing around 8:43 and a parachute team of Marauders landing on Finn and Elcor's heads at 11:42.

You know, another good mood moment from that video was around 15 seconds to extraction. Poor Finn had a spawn dancing on his head, went down, medigelled back into the spawn circle, went down again. I launch a rocket to clear the area for him so he can gel and get to the LZ in time for full extraction.

Love it. No man left behind!

It ain't Wallhax Blindness until you play Hazard Ghost or Hazard White. Mother of God...

And the Cabal is basically my second favorite these days. Image IPB
