Destroy but with Geth survivors. Edi would have probably turned into something quite different when Joker eventually died, another catalyst maybe. As much as I like her I think it's best if the robot with reaper code disappears.
erezike, how should people who feel this way vote in the poll? This is a massive retcon so it's not really Destroy -- is this a IT/Remake vote for purposes of your poll?

Well apparently it can discriminate in Control. And discriminate organics. And fridges. The intention was clear, they wanted an appropirately high cost for win in every 3 endings and Geth+EDI death proved to bbe the correct choice seeing how angry people are that they had to sacrifice them to get Shep to live, but they didn't really explain the Crucible's technology well enough (or just didn't thought it through well enough).erezike wrote...

Destroy with some retcons, such as the Geth and other synthetics not dying.
The crucible doesn't discriminate

actually many itters, and remakers support another episode with shepard.General Slotts wrote...
I can't believe IT and Refuse basically destroyed Control and Synthesis in your previous poll. WTF. And to be honest I could care less which ending the next ME might take place in, well anything but IT that is. Because what would be the ****ing point, you are not Shepard.
so when you are voting for it/remake/retcon/nightmare you are also mostly supporting another epsidoe with shepard.

If you choose to take the cataylst words for granted then you have to accept that the geth&edi die in destroy,
If you want to make any sense of the final choices then i suggest you go to another thread of mine

so when you pick up your gamepad, or mouse or whatever and you turn on mass effect 3, does that mean that you are shepard? Having a game actually make you think is that so bad?General Slotts wrote...

The aim of the game was to destroy the reapers was it not? Why change your mind right at the end?
Hey your choice. Each to their own.

If people want a do over on ME3, I guess that's fine. I however would like to move on. And I just meant that it has already been confirmed that Shepard's story is over.

Um no. They should not have even put refuse in the EC.

Which is why it was elaborated on in the extended cut.
Its also one of the only two logical choices at the end. along with synthesis which stands for surrender, the slave path-saren path. but that is a completly different story.

Synthesis is the perfect ending sequel for ME4 Don't even expect Mass effect 4 till 2015 or so.
If BioWare even went this route, which I sincerely doubt that they would, they'd very likely get rid of a few things to make it remotely palatable, namely the goofy green glowing eyes and circuit skin. I wouldn't be surprised if the reapers simply don't show up too. Basically, it would only ensure that the geth still exist, and little else.

Enjoy it for what it was, is and will be - it's a game that keeps on giving...
As for where Mass Effect goes from here, it's impossible to say. If Shep is going to be brought back from ashes(lol)/rubble... this all may have started on Eden Prime, but their Journey may have actually ended on Virmire.
You ever wonder where it all went wrong? Where suddenly NPCs are wearing the wrong clothing/Armor, suddenly there is a Krogan scientist (counter to Wrex saying none existed) and, in a facility run by Saren, there is a working beacon that he's obviously already used... Why - he was willing to nuke a city to destroy the other one. Why leave a working beacon anyware at all, ever.
...and if all the info was here on Virmire, why did he bother with EP?
There is so much more...

Sorry but there is nothing logical about refusing the use the only device in the galaxy that could stop the reapers.

I get that a Refuse-based ending is silly --- sometimes Alex's jokes go right by me too -- but what's wrong with having Refuse?

I find it hilarious that the OP made a poll that completely disregarded two actual endings in favor of something that is completely false/stupid and a half-ending that only serves to show you what happens when you lose. Gotta love BSN. What's even more amazing is the number of people voting for these non-endings. I don't whether to find that funny or sad.
That's not what erezike's up to. This is the second poll. Control and Synthesis did badly in the first round, so they're out.

Confidence born of ignorance. BSN cannot be broken. The cycle must continue. BSN? A label created by bioware to give voice to their creativity. In the end, what they choose to call us is irrelevant. We simply are.
