Because we're talking about keybindings! How do you map your keys for multiplayer? Because i feel like i do it really strangely.

WASD moves me around, and my sprint/do everything button is Left Alt.

Here's where it gets wonky.

My Aim button is Right CTRL, which i press with my pinky, then i use my middle finger on the trackpad to look around, and RIGHT click to shoot. I press that with my thumb.

Melee is mapped to left click, so if i want to melee, i just move my finger off of the right button, and press the left one.

Then powers are 1-8 like normal, and escape brings up the scores.

Anyone else map their keys strangely/differently?

In my key bindings, I use the same key for both running AND taking cover. I know, absolutely bonkers.

I'm still trying to get mine how I like.

The only thing I have mapped which I imagine is odd, is I have the omni button dual mapped to left shift in addition to space bar ('tis the sprint button in any PC game I've played).

I still find having the powers over wasd a bit wierd - but that's probably due to my very short pc game time.

I use default except I also have medigel bound to Tab

Thermal Clip packs are bound to middle mouse and cover turn is a thumb button instead in an effort to use em more.

I wish we could move the interface itself around, I'd love to have the ammo counter nearer the center of the screen for weapons like PPR. (Specifically where I had my old WoW cooldowns)

Aim, movement and shooting are default but I have the first three powers on left Alt, E and middle mouse button. Medigel is middle mouse up.

Default but with Medi-Gel, Ops Packs and Clip Packs bound to the three thumb buttons on my mouse.

I heard that the next gen consoles with luck will use DX10, not DX 11.

movement - dsfc.
A key in a different row to go forward is madness i tells ya, MADNESS.
A key in a different row to go backwards however is acceptable.
Activate - capslock (separated)
Run - a mouse button (separated)
shoot - lmb
aim - rmb
reload - r
melee - a
ops pack - mouse wheel up (used to be q but kept fat fingering it)
ammo pack - w
medigel - mouse wheel down or y
e,g,v - powers keys on a per kit basis
x - swap weapons
spacebar - take/leave cover
numlock - toggle for autohotkey semi auto fire script because otherwise mattock, phalanx, arc pistol, suppressor & predator are as annoying as kids on my damn lawn


tl;dr wasd is madness i tells ya, MADNESS

Mine are just the default settings. Ive tried messing around with them but I could never find the right bindings that I liked so I just decided to keep them default.

I have Shift and Space swapped, because Shift is sprint in every shooter game ever and Space is pause in every BioWare RPG ever. Don't know whose daft idea it was to swap those around, especially since they had it correct in ME1.

Other than that, I have consumables mapped onto my extra mouse buttons, and everything else is default.

I only remapped gell-middle mouse, scrol down is for weapon swap, scrol up when I'm down instead bashing space, q for ops, e for clip and c is cobra
