Okay, here's my terrible build: http://nwn2db.com/build/?141970

I know it's not a power setup, but I'm uncertain whether it's better to be going all the way into Two-weapon Fighting as I do in this version, or to stop at Improved Two-weapon Fighting, put the stat points into INT for the damage bonus, and get a couple more magical feats instead of Greater and Perfect 2W.

Thank you for your time!

You linked the build editor, not the build itself. But if you're not sure of what you're doing, search the site.

Generally speaking, if you go the TWF route, you should go all the way. Even in the rare exceptions (wizards are sometimes one of them), you should get Greater at the very least (if you reach the required level, of course).

One thing, in regards to all these "review my build" threads lately: it's OK, but there's really no need to do that, as some of the regular "reviewers" are going to see it there anyway.

Back to the topic: Red wizard is a caster class. If you're not focusing on spellcasting... meh. It's not like you're gimping yourself, but you're hardly taking advantage of the class' advantages. Same for Spellcasting Prodigy and the Spell Focus feats. It makes no sense to take them and then leave your INT at 16 (you'll need items to cast high level spells, BTW).

Improved Critical is useless because you have a spell that grants the same effect for free. Rapier is a bad weapon to dual wield because it's medium. We already told you in another thread that Enchantment is a bad choice for your magic school.

Someone else will likely tell you the same there. This is a good build with the same classes (single weapon, though): http://nwn2db.com/build/?119436

Yeah, when I posted I was already pretty sure I was going to switch to just a 19 Dex for Greater 2W and put the rest of the points in Int.

Well, that might not be perfect, but it *might* work. You may want to go for 20 if possible, though. You should generally aim for even attributes.

Just noticed it's an old build. Forget what I said about others posting there, then. Unless you repost it so it appears on the front page, people will miss it, and since you're looking for criticism, you may want to do that.

Thanks. I've updated a bit, and did go for 20 Dex.

Being an enchanter rather than a necromancer is part of his basic concept, though, so I'm leaving that.

I do treat him as a caster as well as a fighter - his control spells are Quickened, so it's not too much of a drag to use them in melee. Whether that'll continue to work in the long run I don't know. At the moment he's level 17 in the OC, the point in the game where most enemies are pretty easy no matter what you pick, so I'm curious as to how he'll end up playing once I take him into MotB which I understand is a little less of a cakewalk.
