I'm trying to alter how many levels a character can gain & how many points they can for their various statistics. I intially tried using a mod called Level 99 (http://dragonage.nex...com/mods/3511/?) which worked in so far as I could level to level 99 but after looking at the exptable.gda I noticed I was supposed to be getting six specialization points whereas I was getting half that.
So, I extracted the original file from the toolset, converted it to a gda and dropped it in the Override folder after editing it- none of my changes showed up in game. I then tried editing the mod I mentioned and again the changes didn't show up.
Primarily, I'm interested in changing the attribute/specialization/skill/ability points given per level. How can I accomplish this?

If there are absolutely no in-game changes then it could be any number of things, from incorrectly created 2DAs to putting them in the wrong folder. I would analyze your process step-by-step and get more comfortable with making then before taking on such a big project.

Every leveling mod I've tried fails to make changes to the number of specialization points given. However the new level caps in these mods work fine. If you know of a mod which changes the number of specialization points and works I'd love to hear about it.
