Players wanted to wave a finger at bioware and recievd the worst end of it...Faust1979 wrote...
Seriously out of all the tough decisions Shepard makes, all the people he kills and the stuff he does to get there he just walks away and lets everyone die? it really makes no sense for any shepard to do that. It's pretty much the worst option. I wouldn't let people die just because I don't like the options before me.

It's Bioware trolling the players:

Well, yeah. They're ancient, near-invincible mechanical Cthulhu, and they've been doing their thing---dropping rocks, if you will---for eons.

Hardly. Lots of Shepards who understand that the Catalyst has no reason to lie.
but when offered water in a desert...
First time i picked synthesis i did it because i thought he was messing with me about the destroy, i mean seriously shoot the tubes? wouldnt that destroy the all damn thing? and why would he tell me how destroy all of his work and him included. but with a back to the wall and no option to offer your own suggestions.to the conflicts my shepard was put in a ****ty spot.

This..
You getting it if you dare shoot at their starbrat is pretty telling.
Realistically speaking he flat out tells you how to kill him. Getting "SO BE IT" at you shooting at a hologram (that he can't even feel) is utterly ridculous.
Shep can be all "Yeah I'm blowing you up. Point the way plzthx."
"Sure go that way then that way"
But shooting him is going TOO FAR.

Well, what did you expect? The fleets are already horribly outnumbered and taking heavy losses, and hammer was nearly decimated during the rush. Your job was to activate the Crucible; it was your last hope. And you refused. Of course everyone dies.
Yeah but when you make a choice everyone is saved if I were in the galaxy I wouldn't want to die just because someone can't make a hard choice.

It is nothing more than a spit in our faces from Bioware.
Yes, the logical outcome is the spiteful one. Naturally.

tied up the game, brought closure Synthesis seemed to create some kind of utopia and in the destroy ending the worlds slowly rebuilt themselves, they both ended as peacefully as they could, it gave me what I wanted in the game.

Not to mention that the way BioWare portrayed AI's in those final minutes, an AI even having such feelings is a ridiculous notion in itself.

Aren't jokes supposed to be funny?I can never have a solid opinion about refuse. Usually I'll just think about the original 3 options. Refuse I find to be infinitely better than control or synthesis though, IMO, so I rate it as my second option. Refuse Shep says all the things the fans did after the ending-rage, so in that sense it feels like a slap in the face from Bioware.
Amen.
